Before we dump solely on Millennials, I think the rest of the narrative is important:

Asked to identify what Auschwitz is, 41 percent of American adults as a whole and 66 percent of millennials could not come up with a correct response identifying it as a concentration camp or extermination camp.

Educate everyone, adults included. As well, Millennials are generally determined to be born form the early 80s to mid-/late-90s, so basically anyone ~20-38 is considered a Millennial.

Personally I see Crosby, McDavid and most likely Dahlin as generational in the current era.

Nothing against Matthews and Eichel, to me those are franchise players and I'd be more than happy with them, but they aren't generational and tend to be found every year.
