H1 of the season, no one is disagreeing that you guys were lights out. But you're pretty much on par with us for H2 in most metrics...including scoring. In games since 2/11...83 GF Tampa and 86 for NJ.

The devils have Taylor Hall who has 93 points. After that,the next best person has 52 points..you need depth scoring to win in the playoffs

Tampa bay have 6 people with 50+ points, and 6 guys with 20+ goals

so, if our D and goaltending is as leaky as you say, even though our goals against is better than yours (13th in GA, while NJ is 17th) will it really matter in this series? I have a hard time believing it will, although I know Tampa will try to play a tight defensive game, they can beat the devils even with their flaws

I agree that you guys have FAR better depth at forward, and especially the blue line. I do not like my devs chances, but do not underestimate how great Hischier is playing down the stretch. He is everywhere. And Johansson was injured a good chunk of the season. But yes, all cylinders need to be firing to stay in any of our games. Palmeiri will be our x-factor i am hoping, otherwise we don't stand a chance. Gonna be a VERY fast series boys!!!!

Nowhere on here was I on a high horse. I have a lotta praise for the Devils. These games will all be tight but I think the overall depth of the Lightning and their extra playoff experience will see them thru. Here is a chart that shows the metrics for the last 25 games for each team.

They play an in-your-face-I-dont-give-a-F!!k attitude and play hard every shift which is more effective than depth. You can have all the depth you want but if you wont match the Devils work ethic say goodbye playoffs in first round.

Also, winless against Devils this season. And don't say oh well that was regular season so it means nothing. If you willing to throw games away, well, that says a lot.

working hard and working hard with results is a different thing. you need to score and have all lines scoring at some point to win 7 game series. the bolts have a lot of experience and i am not taking anything away from the devils this is just my prediction.

i don't think playing with an i dont give a (frank) attitude is worth more than scoring depth. the scoreboard counts how many pucks cross the goal line

i dont think allowing 40-50 shots on goal is a recipe for success in the playoffs if you want to start talking about the regular season, especially facing the #1 offensive team in the NHL

and they have three 20 goal scorers
