So maybe we should stick to what we actually KNOW,
instead of all the assumptions

Botts sounds like he’s taking the “culture aspect” pretty seriously...
so if O’Reilly really is the problem,
then i think he’ll be gone

He also took a shot at "players with playoff experience" who need to be more vocal leaders. I think Botts was giving him the carrot and the stick there. I could see ROR being here next year to see how he responds. I think he's now also gonna listen to offers.

I do think Botts still likes the player, but he wants more from him. ROR will not be sold cheap

ROR isn't the problem with this team, the whole top 9 is ,along with the top 6 D men.

I never care to believe what a GM says about a player directly. He’s never going to bash Ryan O’Reilly when talking about Ryan O’Reilly

His comments in the presser about the leadership group, and possibly changing our core players is more telling to me.

Okposo went through a ton, I doubt he was referencing him

If you can explain how Nelson is eligible, I'd love to hear it. If you can't, I'm assuming he's there til the end of the regular season. He was not one of the 4 recalls.

Nylander, Smith, Malone & Ogelvie will get a chance next year according to him as well

My favorite TV show gets cancelled every April, usually around the first week.

It's renewed every October though
