made a fantasy lineup. Buckle up and get your flame throwers out. This lineup leaves us over 7M in cap space.

JVR-Eichel-Okposo
Erod-Haula-Reinhart
Smith-Mittelstadt-Pommer
Wilson-Riley Nash-Baptiste

Dahlin-Carlson
Scandella-Risto
Nelson-Guhle
McCabe

Grubauer
Ullmark

ROR was traded for Haula and Hague
Bogo was bought out
Moulson was sent to minors
Larsson was sent to minors, or traded whatever
Girgensons was traded for a pick. Or throw him into the ROR trade, dgaf
A Buffalo 2nd was used to acquire Grubauer's rights.

JVR was signed for 5, Carlson for 7, Nash for 2.8, Grubauer for 3

- TheSabresTaco

MacKenzie said Carlson is looking for 7-8mil per, so I’d say at least 8mil for us to get him

JvR had like 36 goals this year
I’m thinking he costs us at least 7 per,
maybe more

Darling signed for just over 4mil last year,
so Grubauer would probably want a deal in that range. Maybe 4.5per

Not really sure what Nash would cost,
but I’d think we’d have to significantly outbid Boston... maybe 4mil per?

And what are u paying Haula?
Just looked up his stats & he’s got 29goals this year
I’m guessing he wants something around 5

According to a mid season poll NHL players poll, ROR is considered one of the top 5 under appreciated players in the entire NHL. I think GM's and coaches think very highly of him as well - eg: always gets asked to play for Canada. Assuming we trade ROR before next season, i anticipate it to be a good hockey trade for both team. This may include others in a much bigger deal. But i highly doubt we are getting pennies on the dollar for ROR.....

If we win the 2nd or 3rd spot in the lottery, I think Reinhart gets moved first. We would have Z/Svech, Reinhart, Okposo, Pominville, Baptiste. Oglieve and Pu are right handed centres that can move to the right side. Could also move Bailey back to the right side. We have nothing on the left side. Also fitts the Botts model of building down the middle.

When ROR is moved I think the most ideal place is the blues

That’s where I think he ends up

Maybe for Jaden Schwartz

Not on the NHL roster. Its organizational depth. Dont expect Pu to make the roster either.

yeah was a little confused. even then, I doubt it has any effect on who gets moved. can't imagine botts would think "well now that we have ogelvie we have the depth to move reinhart"

he's pretty much an AHL only guy until he proves otherwise. Their depth on the right side long term is basically nothing as well. Pommer is done after next year and Okposo is gentle breeze from permanent IR status.

Agreed. Pu, Asplundh, Olofoson, and Davidson in the AHL. If they sign that's probably where they end up. Seems like they replace Bailey, Baptiste, and Nylander. Would live to see Fasching claim a bottom six role.

For the time being though you do have Okposo and Pominville. Bailey can switch back to the RW spot as well as having Baptiste. If you move ROR you throw Casey into the fire. If we move ROR we need to have an answer for another centre coming in like a Bozak to help Mitts adjust to the NHL game.

Bozak sucks, and 1 year of Pominville and maybe Okposo doesnt equal depth at RW. Certainly not to a point where you'd say we can move Reinhart because we're deep there.

If they're going to move him, it should be because a good offer has come in, better than whatever they can get out of him on his next deal. Not because they've got Pominville and Okposo at RW. That'd mean something if this team was competing next year.

the main reason for his moving will be his speed we will be a much faster team and if we draft Svech there's zero Point in keeping him trade him for a massive package

Botts needs to assess the offers coming in. It all depends on what is being offered. If you get Z/Svech you need to decide what you value more. A 2nd line centre or a 2nd line RW, and the quality of the offers that you are receiving on either player. I still think Reinhart is moved before ROR. But I wouldn't be shocked either if ROR is moved before Reinhart. Maybe none of them are moved, you add a top 4 pick this year and get a full year out of Erod, Bailey, and Baptiste to help the bottom 6. Guess we'll find out.

There isn't another sport on the planet where the entire "sports community" is as tight knit as they are in hockey.

Calling it white, male privilege is just a slap in the face of the 15 people that died headed to do something they love.
