Wow, on NHL.com, of the 14 hockey "experts" only 3 of them predict the Leafs will beat the Bruins.. It will be fun to see how the other 11 respond, after the Leafs win the series..

I have a buddy interviewing with Amazon for a job in Boston. He's unsure about it because he says it's damn expensive to buy a house and the cost of living is nuts. True or false?

I think the LA Kings are a pretty strong dark horse coming out of the West. Considering the two Cup runs they went on before, their very low goals against totals, the style they play, the fact they have Doughty, Quick and Kopitar (playing the best hockey of his career), they could be a real sleeper pick.

Well he's big into sports and leaving the US military so it's like his first job as a civilian. It's funny watching him preparing for his interviews and poop. Especially because he's based in Hawaii right now so his interviews are at 3am his time.

And Jeff Carter missed most of the season but now he's back and scoring like he normally does. Their first round match-up is Vegas which could be a long series but LA definitely has the experience factor.

In the past 10 years, it's pretty much been Pittsburgh, Chicago, LA and Boston winning Cups. It could just be LA's turn again.
