For real though. I read that and thought, "GTFOH!".

I hope he's in the KHL next year. What a goober. He's worse than Lehner and acting like there are actually NHL teams that are going to fight over his services. I wonder if he's in the league next year.

Funny what a difference a year makes. When Johnson left the first time, people were upset that he was let go because he was a good cheap backup, now he wont even be in the NHL.

Could it be that this team was just so bad, that it left its goalies out to dry all the time?

Me thinks this Sabres team had an affect on everyone, not just the players.

He was bad once he left (after a hot start) and bad when he came back. He's a career backup that had a nice year the first go around. The team didn't ruin him. He and Lehner had a poopty start and the team was out of it 10 games in.

The dude is just not good

Well that's just false, but please continue.

2013-2014 2.10 GAA and a .925 SV %
2015-2016 2.36 GAA and a .920 SV %
2016-2017 2.59 GAA and a .910 SV %

FWIW I was never a big fan of CJ. He is a goalie that relies almost exclusively on positioning and his athleticism is so much lesser than what the position requires.

Whether or not he said this, I still did not want him back. Can't say he wasn't get shelled as bad a couple years ago, things were just as bad IMO.

27 games played
45 games played - will agree on that one, that was the good year i referenced
36 games played - that's the one where he started really hot with Calgary and the wheels fell off

He's played with 6 teams, and eclipsed 40 starts 1 time.

Before he came the first time, he had an .889 sv%, and this year he had an .891 sv%

He's a backup that can occasionally get hot, but is mostly bad. You don't go through 6 teams if you're anything more than a backup

Well no S)(*^. He is a backup. That whys he is paid like a backup, and that's how the NHL works they rotate through these guys. but to say he sucks, is just false.

I’d imagine we’d at least make a call
Could be the reason we didn’t spend $$$ to keep Kane

Can’t imagine he’d come here though

- jdfitz77

If we land Dahlin, I can't imagine he wouldn't consider it. If he signs with us, O'reilly gets moved for a scoring winger.

(O'reilly trade)- Eichel- Reinhart
Nylander-JT-Okposo
Erod-Mitts-Bap
Wilson-Malone-Pommers

Dahlin-Risto
Guhle-Nelson
Scandela-McCabe

I think JT would realize that this team with him would be a powerhouse for years to come.

He certainly sucked this year. He was left out to dry sometimes, no doubt. But other times he was just bad.

Assuming he hadn't made those comments, would you really want him back after this year?

Twice in the past four years, his season ending stats have not been worthy of a contract renewal.

Do you think a .891 SV% is good enough where the SABRES should have to prove something to him?

Seriously.....Girgs can do what Larsson does AND contribute a bit more.

If Larsson wants out GTFO.

there were several times (well over 10) this season that while watching him i questioned him even being in the NHL.. last time he was here i maybe had that feeling a handful of times at most. He has regressed. he should go to the KHL or accept that he is not making more than 1.25 mil.

Step four: tell people they are ignorant when you say they have what his generation coined white privilege..
- IndianaSabresFan

Dude doesn’t get it. He’s filled with nothing but hate, privilege, and entitlement. Even admitted his family is racist. Thinks because he gave a used second hand computer to a “poor” person that he can continue to talk down to people and think he knows how the world works.

that defense is still suspect for a few years till Dahlin, Guhle and nelson (hopefully) mature into the nhl game..

Please let them move Larsson, he is one of the reason why we're in last place. He's slow, had no offensive ability, and just stands around. Where the hell does this guy get his arrogance from? He thinks he's on par with McDavid.

That's what's so mystifying. It's like Nolan saying "I'm not happy with my playing time"

If he had just signed a one-year deal last year, he could have gone back to sweden, no hard feelings

I'm surprised you think that. Only time will tell, but I don't see it. He's been mediocre at best for the better part of two seasons. If he played well for the Flames last year, I'd wonder, but he did not.

Yeah, Browns are going to (frank) us or save us picking Allen.

Unless we thought we could get to 2, there’s no reason we would see Darnold
