As was the problem with the Bills... The Sabre must change the entire culture of the organization from top to bottom. They clearly have a LOSER MENTALITY throughout the organization..... It must be changed because if it is not then it will not matter what players are brought in... They will continue to be the worst organization in the NHL... And possibly all of North American professional sports.

Look at the bigger picture. Its not just one player saying it.

As was the problem with the Bills... The Sabre must change the entire culture of the organization from top to bottom. They clearly have a LOSER MENTALITY throughout the organization..... I think they have bad players.

ROR was never brought in to be on a losing team.
Lehner was never brought in to be on a losing team.
Okpoo was never brought in to be on a losing team.
Kane was never brought in to be on a losing team.
Etc etc.

All these players brought in after the tank years. Only 4 players from that team are still here.

They are just bad.

It starts with this hey lets be family friendly. They are doing to much to try and gear the game towards kids and not enough towards the actual fan base.

This is a bigger problem than the talent on this team, imo. Culture is such a huge problem. They need to take a page out of the Bills book. Doesn't matter if you're good. If you're not here to win and here to be a part of a team, then we have no problem trading you.

I'm not a firm believer in culture thing, because you can look around evey league and find teams that sucked for years, got really good players and were instantly better, but something has to give here. It does not make any sense.

The Sabres culture is losing.
In 47 years, they have how many good seasons?
Several in 70’s and 80’s, a couple in the late 90’s, and two of o5 and 06 seasons.
So, roughly let’s say 11sh, 15 on the high side (without checking).

30 some odd years of sucking...that IS their culture.

It's not a tangible element, but like some say, winning can change everything. Including culture. All I know is that when I look at this team and I hear the things that they say, the culture of losing needs to be expelled.
