Ok so the blues sign Tavares and kovalchuk
Could you imagine
Kovy Tavares tarasenko
Schwartz Schenn fabbri?
Steen sobotka berglund
Maybe switch tarasenko and fabbri
Ok I'll wake up from my dream. - bluenote31
There is no way the blues roll with a third line of Steen Sobo Berglund
1 or 2 of those guys will be traded
Kyrou will be up and on the third line
That third line is disgusting and not in a good way |

Dump Sobotka, add Thomas to the 3rd line.
That would be a great summer.

I highly doubt the Blues would want to move Steen. They would want to move Berglund and shockingly to my mind Sobotka. |

sobotka's numbers look pretty bad. doubt the yotes would want him...but i'm just going off stats.
berglund might be interesting. but i still think goligoski would have to be part of the deal to make it work. i assume that's a deal breaker for st. louis.... |

depends on the parameters Berglund and Steen for Goligoski plus might not be horrible for the Blues |

yotes are in desperate need of nhl forwards.
i suspect they'd willing to throw a prospect/pick or 2 into the deal. |

I don't see a deal happening but to get out from under Berglund at the expense of Steen.....
ANd move Sobotka in another deal |

Sobotka was completely disinterested all year. Please move him. Did Steen score any goals last year that were not empty net goals? I used to really like Steen, now I like the idea of freeing up his contract. Berglund has the most upside of those 3 players. If he can stay healthy for a full year I'd like to see what he could bring with some young talent around him. Maybe nothing, maybe something??? |

Hoffman shipped to San Jose, then flipped to Florida. I thought you couldn't trade until July 1st. Are all these deals done in principle awaiting finalization on the 1st? |

You can't sign UFAs, or extend currently players going into their final year until July 1st.
Trades can happen right now. |

Blues NEED to go after Panarin. Right handed goal scorer for the top line. Fills all the needs we have in a player. Also gets along with Tarasenko and might spark him. Not sure how to get it done and he is a ufa after next season |

Yeah, if he is truly available.....Blues should go hard for him. Would be a perfect fit. |

i would do Panarin for Thompson, our 1st round this year, and maybe something else. IF Panarin agreed to a contract extension before
Thomas, Kyrou, and Kostin are OFF THE TABLE!!! |

I would try to keep Thomas and Kyrou but for the right young player or player in general I would be ok with moving one.
Elias Lindholm is apparently available and at first glance you might just say so what. The thing is he has some really good underlying numbers and is still young. If you could also dump salary I would be all over it. He appears to be a good play maker and that would work well as a second line center. I would also be in on Skinner. I just hope the Blues can dump some salary at the same time. You know Garth always puts crazy trades up there when one of his players is being shopped but his ask for O-Reilley I would make that deal in a split second. I just wish the Blues made a move for Graubner and then forced one of the teams with interest him to take on Allen.
I just do not trust Allen to be a starting goalie in this league. He can be good but he's fairly mediocre and when he's off his game he is down right terrible. |

Grubaur is traded to Colorado who is getting better and will only be better since they are in line to get a lottery pick with a generational talent in next year's draft. I am betting the Senators are looking at moving Karlsson to Colorado to get that pick back and then some. I would say to Ottawa here's Petro for Karlsson.

There were three players that had a chance to fall to the Blues that I really liked in this draft in the first round: K'andre, Kupari and Bokk. They got the last one and so I think they did a great job. |
