Everyone loves to say that, but I rarely hear it mentioned that our forwards are terrible defensively. It cuts both ways. This teams is really bad at everything.

That again operates under the assumption that Murray would've picked Debrincat. If he traded Debrincat for Gorges you'd have a point.

And Chad Krys was the pick Chicago used that they got from Montreal, Debrincat was Montreal's own pick.

I really don't get your fascination with Roslovic, he's not a very good player, certainly not "way better than Nylander", and the "right now" bit is irrelevant because all those players were drafted a year ahead of Alex.

I think there’s too many “IFs” to really say whether or not we’d be good now if we didn’t make all those trades

The one thing we can all agree on,
Murray’s excellerated rebuild was a disaster

Hopefully some of the picks he made will end up helping us out here in the coming years

But we undoubtedly be in 10x better shape going forward

He's the worst Jets player in Corsi not named Shawn Matthias. /60 stats when a player barely plays are subject to wild swings, what was it a few weeks ago before he had 4 of his 14 points in 2 games out of his last 3 games? I'd guess pretty poopty.

Might not be good yet, but the only way we could be worse is if there were 32 teams. Pretty much a guarantee we would be better.

Question. How long was roslovic in the ahl and did he have better team mates ? Nylander was one of our top prospects and pretty much alone. Team is still growing .3-4 years from now if we draft correctly we should have 2 good - great teams .
Roch will lose a bunch of talent to the Sabres next season. Will the draft picks fill in so the team doesn't miss a beat ? That is a goal worth having .
