So maybe Ledecky didn't take answers cause he didn't want to support these guy. Maybe he wants to wait till the playoffs are over and get applicants and say JT who do you like. He didn't support them he just walked away ......probably not the case but he could have said we support these guys not we failed everyone will be evaluated. maybe he knew he had to speak and this was his way of waiting till guys are available. Nah

It makes sense actually.
What’s he supposed to do when he hasn’t a clue if the GM’s that they have on a short list would or wouldn’t come here? It’s not like The Islanders are The Rangers or Leafs.
This they won’t know until their candidates current teams fall out of the POs.
He didn’t back Snow or weight as you said. He also said the season was a failure and we as owners failed. They did well by solidifying a new arena however saying they failed as owners means the team isn’t going in the right direction. If that’s the case, which it is, what options do they have to change the direction of the team?
I would say fire the Engineer running the train wreck.

He wasn't happy they failed either so this may not be as bad as it seems

My new theory ( ) is that Ledecky was pissed with Snow and Weight "assuming" that all is well and they'd be back next year then leaking/telling the press that. I can totally envision Snow arrogantly telling the press that without getting Ledecky's and Malkin' s approval first.

I know you're kidding but if you look at Ledeckys body language, (not looking to his left much, if at all) he doesn't seem too happy with these two. Plus, why did he leave the podium? It's almost like he is saying, "You two are truly responsible for this mess, YOU answer their questions."

I agree with you but we’ll never know and all we can do is speculate. Bottom line those guys are still employed and shouldn’t be. At this point they’re beyond pathetic. I have zero interest in the draft or next season. It’s so past the point of sanity that I’m only actually paying attention out of pure amazement.

“But when Snow was asked about his 12 years in charge, with four playoff appearances and a single series victory to show for it, he performed his trademark sidestep maneuver. Snow defended his own job worth by rambling about the draft picks he made and the current prospect pool — the pool which supplies AHL Bridgeport, which missed the playoffs and won’t win a series for a 15th straight season, setting a league record. (Mind you, the Islanders themselves have won one playoffs series since 1993.)”

This right here........mind boggling.
