Of course JT doesn't want them to leave. It's a fucking cuntry club. No accountability anywhere. - Isleshockeyman
I have no doubt JT wants an outside coach coming in telling him to play defense and watch his shifts in OT. |

Maybe Garth thinks it was a full on rebuild in 2016? I would have laughed in his face after that answer. |

He should have been fired just for saying this and I cannot believe an actual tough question. - ses111
Honestly though, what's he going to say. "No. I should be shot out of a canon into the sun. I did a crappy job." Honestly. Of course he's going to say yes. He knows he still has a job. If he has even a modicum of doubt, then he's trying to ensure he keeps it. |

He'll be drawing up all the plays, too. He'll tell Weight to go get bent, it's his team. - Isleshockeyman
Maybe we should have drafted Hedman? |

I like your answer better and I understand he's not going to say No, but mentioning the rebuild back in 1950 was dumb. |

Listen, this really isn't a JT problem. It's an L&M problem. They allowed him to have 100% complete control and hold the franchise hostage because they're gutless pukes and obviously in over their head. |

Always starts at the top. I'm still not happy with JT though. |

JT, Lee & Barzal. That's your talent. Everybody else is role fillers. Not very impressive. |

That 4th line has so much talent and it's so cheap. Do not forget the great Mayfield and Pelech signings. |

They may be, but then hire competent experienced hockey people and let them run the show. None of my employers were capable of doing my job, which is why they hired me. It's not brain surgery. |

I'll even give credit for Beau and Pulock. Let's look at the coaching talent Garth has hired. |

I don't like how he's handled this either. Its tough for me to blame JT when the Isles handed him the keys to the organization. |

L&M do not need to be hockey experts. Ledecky has not made any good contacts from his time as Caps minority owner? Again this is not Wang having no idea about hockey. As I said posted the other day. You can Google hockey GM candidates in 5 seconds and get a good list together. |

3 months before my contract ends, I need to inform them if I'm going to re-up or move on. Hard line. If I don't sign by then, it's c-ya. I could always reapply and negotiate another contract if they haven't filled it by the expiration of the contract. And I don't make millions a year. |

No question Ledecky was dumb enough to give control over to JT and his agent. Cannot even blame Garth on this as L&M seem to be in control of this situation. |

His whole demeanor, from the way he dressed to the way he sat down just screamed "screw you Isles fans, I'm here to stay. Nothing you say or do matters. Not even billboards." |

I know we're all still digesting this but the more I think about it the more I believe these clowns will be back next season. I mean why even have them there if they aren't coming Back? Ledecky could have addressed the media himself if he wanted too and no harm no foul if he canned them both a month later. It doesn't make any sense. |

Yep and that has been his demeanor since day one. You would think he was some kind of hall of fame or something instead of some loser back up that barely held onto an NHL career. Disliked him as a player and the day he was hired as a GM(saying that still males me laugh). Never understood why anyone liked the guy from a fans standpoint he never did anything that would give any intelligent person the idea he had an actual plan. His moves were all over the place with no direction. His drafting was sub par and he never made the right trade at the right time to actually help the team. The only moves he made were to insulate him and his friends and to protect their jobs ultimately. |

That's what I was saying earlier. What was the point of them being there if you're going to fire them. |
