Why admit though. It makes you look extremely weak as the owner. - mdw7413
But going around the league supposedly asking NHL people's opinions of Snow on whether he should fire him or not doesn't? |

He looks like someone who has absolutely no fear of losing his job. It's so pathetic, he looks like he couldn't be bothered with this stuff. - eichiefs9
Same look he always has. He knows better than everyone else. |

"We failed as owners."
Ok how exactly? By keeping Snow and Weight on? That of course is the answer but as owners what exactly did you fail at when your GM and coach are the real culprits. - Cptmjl
Yea, I like how he can say they failed but needs an investigation spanning the next few weeks and months to figure out whether Snow and Weight failed or not. |

He has no idea what he's doing. He's incompetent and I'm starting to think that he's more of a real estate speculator than a hockey team owner. - eichiefs9
Is that how Ledecky made his money? Real estate? |

He can't. He's probably pissed that they forced him to talk to the press. |

Thats what I'm saying. Its sounds like he has no clue what he is doing and never watched hockey until he bought the team a couple years ago |

Precisely. Makes zero sense. It's like he wrote that thing up 5 mins before he walked into that bogus press conference. |

No, I mean I'm starting to think he was in this just to be an arena owner and he doesn't really give a rat's ass about the on-ice product. |

He's obviously a complete total moron. I don't care how much money he has that doesn't dictate intelligence. |

Ledecky: “we are committed to long term success... we will be evaluating our hockey operations and then determine the path forward... as owners, we have failed.” - JimmyP
Everything with this team moves glacially slow. From Snow filling holes in the roster, to Tavares making a decision, to ownership “evaluating” the sorry state of management. Can anyone in this organization ever just do something without taking a generation to mull it over?? |

Doesn't make sense though. Less people go to games the less money he males real estate or not. |

True, but I think he's probably focusing all his time on that and not to caring about the (frank)ing team that will play there. |

So true. I mean what exactly is there to evaluate as far as Snow and everyone is concerned? Any of us can throw twenty or things up here in a Milisecond that would've gotten any other coach, GM, hockey exec fired years ago. It's absurd. |

Well that would be really dumb on his part from a fiscal stand point and he's obviously stupid so... |

I think you guys are misreading this. I believe they have already decided what they are going to do and don't want to announce it yet for whatever reason. |

I respectfully disagree. I don't think they have a clue what they're doing. I think they're going to ask other owners what they would do. Jesus P. Christ, grow a pair. All you need to do is look at the facts. The facts are Snow has never taken this team past the 2nd round. He's never addressed all the team needs. He doesn't make the moves needed. He makes completely unnecessary moves. He manages with his ego, not for what's best for the team. He's got to go!. But these 2 gutless pukes are going to keep him. F ucking insane. |

I am cautiously optimistic you are right, Jimmy. I am hoping that it's a scenario like Vukota described where they want to offer the GM position to someone who works for a team that's in the playoffs. So they don't want to announce Snow is getting canned (preferable) or kicked upstairs (less preferable), until they have his replacement lined up.

I agree there's more to this. Ledecky didn't endorse weight or snow. That to me says a lot. Maybe Ledecky is finally seeing the light at the last minute? - Cptmjl
