Yeah he's a living, breathing example of it. If that stat means anything why don't we try trading him? If he's even a decent defenseman with his contract we should get a pretty hefty return no? I mean we all know that defenseman are at a premium right and we've seen crap go for 1st rounders and good prospects so what does anyone think we'd get back for a "reasonable contract" +20 Thomas Hickey?

They could resign hickey to a 10 year ninety million dollar contract for all I (frank)ing care but with that said he blows. Not a good defenseman he'd have a hard time cracking any real competitive teams bottom 6.
