If thre is any justice the rangers will beat the flyers and do their part in helping to eliminate them.it would take the sting out of what went on this season and hopefully the kids and hank lay a beating on the bum hole flyers |

I don’t really love or hate him, but I hate that you repeat this over and over and over and over
We get it Miller was Gretzky here, enough already🤐 - Slimtj100
I didn’t bring Miller or Namestnikov up today. But whenever someone does I’ll be happy to chime in. |

This is thee one game now, and the 46th time this season, where most don't mind that the opposition has again scored the game's first goal.
The Rangers record heading into this game when they allow the opposition to score first is a horrible 10-28-7, and working on loss #29.
In fact, the Rangers have been outscored during regulation time in each period, with a goal differential heading into this game respectively of a (-17), (-13), and a (-3) in 3rd periods.
In trailing again after the 1st, the Rangers came into today's game with an unbelievable 4-23-5 record, for a horrendous .125 Winning %, and .203 Points Earned %.
Trailing after 2nd periods, they came into today going even worse at 5-32-4, for a .122 Winning %, and a more horrible .170 Points Earned %.
Should the deficit heading into this 3rd period be at least 3 goals, I know that most do not want to see the Rangers change that tune in game #82, with the exception of "TPC" for his own closer personal reasons of it having to come against his hated local Flyers team.

Games like today show this rebuild won't be fast. I just don't think the Rangers young talent is ready yet. |

There will be moves made for experienced talent to be brought in here as well as using the youth you have begun to witness.
But their first move that will take place within a short time after today will be regarding their bench coaching staff being possibly let go. That's especially due to that additional youth in part which will be here next season, which someone named A.V. has never preferred to have in his lineups as opposed to nearly all veterans. |

Thanks for the input. Do you think anybody here thinks he’s starting the 3rd?
You’re welcome for the push into the playoffs.
Congrats for Giroux. Always liked him.
Now (frank) off.
p.s. - I still want Simmonds. |

Who holds the tiebreaker between the Rangers/Chi/Edm? - nyrangers9479
It's hard to believe that at this time of day during Rangers game #82, it's still hard to determine the tiebreaker order for the Rangers, Chicago, & Edmonton for in contrary, the better lottery ball chances for who finishes worse.
Other than the Rangers having 77 points, (& well on the way to end with that amount in trailing 4-0 after the 2nd), to Chicago's and Edmonton's 76 points, for the 1st tiebreaker, Chicago has 32 ROW WINS to the Rangers and Oilers 31 ROW WINS.
Chicago plays at Winnipeg, and Edmonton hosts Vancouver in their final games tonight.
The Rangers in trailing 4-0 after the 2nd, have a horrendous current overall GOAL DIFFERENTIAL of (-36), as opposed to prior to their 82nd games, Chicago's (-24), and Edmonton's (-30) as the final tiebreaker.
But in between those two tiebreakers, is the HEAD TO HEAD one. Chicago owns them both over the Rangers and Edmonton. They defeated the Rangers 6-3, and 5-2 in the two game match ups, and won at Edmonton 4-3 in OT, and at home 4-1 against them. (Their first home game OT LOSS to Edmonton does not count in this tiebreaker, with that first game played being their extra ("ODD") game played in Chicago, by the tie breaker rules.) |

It's been this way all season long under this coaching staff, in trailing from the get go with poor 1st period starts, and including today's game, trailing in 33 of 82 games after the 1st, yielding them a 10-28-7 record (going on 29 losses) when trailing after one for the season. |

Rangers breakup day is this Tuesday. Will it be the last time this coaching staff will be around here (as far as their same positions go behind the bench any longer)? |

This time King Henrik probably told A.V. off during the intermission after the 2nd Period.
A.V. owes all of his prior seasons' success and current contract 90% to Hank than any other Ranger here under his tenure. But his tenure looks to have run out, despite him calling out Hank at times in key earlier this season for his team's woes.
Not that it ended up mattering this season in the end, but did A.V. at least ever know that he gets to call one timeout per game, for one of his numerous coaching flaws here, but secondary to his "SAFE = DEATH" style used, no matter how much speed he wanted here and once had for the season?

If the NYR CHI EDM end up tied in points it goes 9.CHI 8.NYR 7.EDM
Need an EDM win and CHI to get 1 point to end up 7. Guaranteed 9 for now. |

I have faith that Edmonton can beat Vancouver. They’re horrible, too. |
