And the best part is Tavares basically got Bailey 6m AAV from having a career year. Just to sign elsewhere afterwards. And then Isles will be without Tavares. And Bailey will go back to scoring 30-40 points a year making 6m AAV

Unless Barzal continues to do what he's doing, perhaps Bailey could find a little chemistry with him but Barzal will prob still be playing with Eberle and Beuvillieur next season. So Bailey will be back to poop numbers.

He's 23 at this point. Might be a bit premature to move on from him for a team in the middle of a rebuild.

Nylander needs one goal for twenty and I think he gets a bonus for that. They're gonna be feeding him pucks so much it'll be comical.

Kovy will get a one year deal like Radulov

And if he wants to maximize his dollars, and is confident in his ablilites than that's the right thing to do. He can make the most amount possible the first year and cash in the 2nd.

Now, in a world where the Leafs did sign Tavares....I think kovy would jump at the chance to sign a one year deal....to play on a winner and light it up with the Leafs fire power to get a good 2nd contract. And the leafs have the space.

Unpossible. I read on twitter that he's better defensively than Matthews. Like, much much better. Only thing Matthews does better is score goals.
