Rod was a great player but he never put up the kind of individual numbers that St. Louis did.

Brind'amour hit a point per game or better 4 times in his 20 season career.

St. Louis did it 6 times in 16 years.

I always wondered about Schwein.

Say what you will about GG, but the Flames out chance and out shoot the opposition by a fair margin in pretty much every game we've played down the stretch. His systems work pretty good actually. Some of his player choices for certain situations leaves you scratching your head more often than not however...

If our bottom 9 didn't have bricks for hands we could/should have won a lot of those February/March games. The amount of missed nets this year, especially half open ones, has been astounding. It's almost like they are using opposite handed sticks to shoot it's so bad some nights...
