We get nhl free as part of our phone contract (so not really free...), still , not sure the difference in cot between internet/cable and just internet.
- 1970vintage

I went with Telus because my work had a deal with them (which was rescinded 2 months into my 2 year contract), and it was like $80/month for internet and about $15 for basic cable and $15 for the sports package since I was bundling. They have since also removed the savings for bundling, so now my bill is closer to $150/month. Contract is up in August and I'll be reconsidering again, just want easy access to Canucks games but Centre Ice is like $220 for the year

if he says specific names he will get fined for tampering again.

It was kinda funny watching him restrain himself from not telling who he wants to go after.
The guy is just to (frank)en honest.

I imagine Kane is the type of player that he would go after. I really hope he keeps the phone away on July 1st.

Centre ice I still $139 with Telus I think (https://www.telus.com/en/...um-sports/nhl-centre-ice/) plus tax I guess.

Hey Lefty, I think Don is challenging you to insult Benning every post

That’s not what he said at all. He said going from 27th place at best to 25th at worst is an improvement.
- 1970vintage

Bottom 5 is 26th place.... to 25th place at worst is any improvement.... by the slimmest of margins.
We have more points this year so we've already improved.
We're going from a bottom 3 finish to a bottom 9 finish so we've already improved.
I don't see how finishing 25th next season without the twins correlates into an improvement directly related to not having the twins.
Again, this season 23 to 25th placed team, next season, 25th placed team, not an improvement.

Hey, look, i’m Not interested in fighting someone else’s battle, but you are wrong and can’t count:

31st
30th
29th
28th
27th - fifth worst, or bottom five.
26th - better
25th - better
24th - better
23rd - better
22nd - better
21st - better
20th - these are all technically an improvement on 27th

I think its only that price when you already pay for Telus Opik, which at minimum is $40/month and already shows me Canuck games

Yes, I also don't want to fight someone else's battle (realities but....
Last season with the twins we finished 2nd worst, this season were gonna finish 5 to 9th worse. So that's an improvement, with the twins.
I dont see how finishing between 20 and 25 this season and the same next season would be an improvement? I get what you're saying, if we win the cup next year, thats an improvement.

But, If we finish 25th next year and 24th this year, thats not an improvement, thats reality.

I think this year’s “improvement” can be attributed to Boeser/Horvat, and next years “improvement” will be because of Dahlen and Zadina

I went through the exercise when I moved out. I was just going to do Netflix, NHL Centre Ice, and MLBTV, but for the cost of internet and those 3 services I was better off paying for cable. Cant stand Telus though, good quality picture but poop hardware and pricey
- WhiteLie

I looked at a similar path as well but you are correct better off just top keep reg. cable. Honestly if my GF didn't PVR so many shows all I would need is sports channels and the odd news/educational channel.

Agree on Telus too. absolute garbage hardware and I still find the feed/picture better from SHAW but that's just me.

Nope

Is there anyone who doesn't think Sautner is also better than Hutton + Gudbranson + Biega
