Brodie had a brutal year. Sekera could rebound just as easily as Brodie.

And while I’ve always mostly liked sekera as a quality 2nd pairing guy, his age and this injury has me super concerned. Brodie’s got 4 years on him and has shown recently he can be a quality top pair guy.
Like a really good one even.

Essentially I think he’s less of a risk going forward. a year less on his deal, a mil in savings, and a significantly higher ceiling at Present.
And with the The brutal year, he potentially could be bought somewhat low
