Sid's goal was classic Sid. Lately he has been batting them in around the net in this style. I thin there has been three in the last four games? Funny how they come in batches like this. |

That goal from Crosby was amazing but yet not surprising from him.
As far as sports go, the only sport I like to watch is hockey. I find baseball, football, and basketball all boring to watch. Football and basketball are fun to play but boring to watch. |

I think the Bruins are winning the cup this year.
It looks like Murray in net, no Brassard and Hunwick back in tonight. |

This has been my thought, well, that they're at least going to the cup from the East. |

That's my pick with Pens or Bruins coming out of the East.
Doesn't mean I don't think the Pens can't win, they're one of 5 teams I feel are capable (also Tampa and Jets), but Nashville is my favorite. |

I'm torn on the other seeds. Boston is probably the only team I don't think the Pens can beat. Just a bad matchup. I'd love to see a Tampa/TO series. Lot's of skill and skating. |

Really? I'd take pittsburgh over any team in the metro. But I do have then losing in the ECF to one of buston/TBY. Anything short of an ECF would be a massive disappointment. |

I can see the Pens competing with skill against any other team. Not saying they'd win, but I think they can handle anybody but Boston. The last month has been so uneven, I can't say what the Penguins will do in the playoffs. |

It’s more like
Guentzel Crosby Rust
Haglen Malkin Simon
Aston-Reese Brassard Kessel
Sheary Sheahan Hornqvist
That’s how you spread the wealth. That is a little bit of everything on every line. But you know Sullivan will insist on sticking Kuhny in there somewhere, anywhere. I truly believe Sully sees a lot of himself in Kuhnhackle and he truly likes the kid. |

I agree Pens would be my favorite in the Metro, though I think Washington and Columbus, more so Columbus, are talented enough to beat them without it neing a big upset.
I feel Pens would exploit Tampa's depth. I like our 2nd and 3rd lines and pairings more than theirs. Boston is a scary match-up with 3 strong lines and the ability to match Bergeron, Krejci, and Backes down the middle (though they've been playing Backes at wing and Nash at 3C). |

I know that Sheary-Sheahan-Hornqvist line has had some good games this season, but I can't see the Pens not playing the top 3 lines more than the 4th to get the stars more ice time.
I'm also not willing to break up what Malkin has been doing and I hope come playoffs Kessel is back on the 3rd line. That's our advantage. Other teams have better top lines and/or top pairings. But Hagelin-Malkin-Hornqvist/Rust has been as good or better then any 2nd line in the league. And nobody has a combo like Brassard-Kessel on the third line.
If Pens 3-peat, I feel it has to be by winning the depth battles with the Crosby and Letang units holding their own. |
