We got this. 4-0-3 since hak sacked up
- Just5

Who did he sack anyways. Did he walk into the room and punch weise in the balls thereby unifying the team?

I don't think we can move him. Bury him in the minors I guess but then he takes a spot of one of the developing tenders.
- Hextall271

Just buy him out. Or maybe look into putting him on LTIR if there really is something underlying here

Last night it was painful. I was sure we'd blow that one.
- Hextall271

Indeed. It was a huge two points, but this team is not playing well particularly later in games. It's like once they score two goals, they take their foot off the gas and instead go into an all out defensive mode. Despite that there are still too many give aways and penalties. The way they are playing may get them into the playoffs, but they are not beating any playoff team 4 out 7 times this way.

Who do we want to win tomorrow the Devils or the Pens in that game? Either way a 3 point game is not what we want.
- Buzzo

Pittsburgh 100%. Honestly, I think the Flyers are a better match-up as the WC1 seed (Washington) as opposed to the 2/3 seed in their division (Columbus or Pittsburgh). Also, as had been said, just get in. At some point, you're going to play a team you don't want to in the playoffs, and that goes for every team. Get in, get some hot goaltending (easy, right?), and who knows.

Yeah. That's possible. Shouldn't be too much of a hit. I could also see hextall walking away from mrazek. He's an rfa so I'm not sure what the qo is but if it's 4 mil. See ya

Completely agree. They're not burying their chances then they hold on for dear life and collapse in a phalanx to try to get the win. Will not work in the playoffs guys.

Gut check win without a doubt!!

I can't help but admit I was shocked and pretty worried when we decided to put Manning and Amac out to close out the game with a one goal lead and they could not move the puck and turn it over.

MacDonald belongs out on the ice in that situation. I'd prefer it to be with Provorov though.

Elliott. He's sitting in the hot tub recovering.

Well you gotta go with Lundqvist, although I guess that MAF is sorta...

Oh, you mean who's playing the best for the Flyers? I guess Elliott, since he's the only one that hasn't played poorly in the past week.

I actually prefer sanheim over manning in the situation though I would not if I was Hak. Sanheim doesn’t have the experience and it is not the time of the year to get it, his skill set would be better than watching manning and gudas fumble the puck

It's not likely that Neuvirth has any injury issue that would linger into next season or last a full season.

6 on 5 is playing in a closet and not much room to utilize puck skills.

Hopefully soon. Also, I desperately want hagg to draw back in. Manning and gudas are driving me over the edge. Sit manning for god sake and don't dare take sanheim out. He's playing very well imo.

Furthermore, we have to find a better mix for pp2. I'm trying to think if sanheim has gotten a shot there. As much as I like provy, maybe let sanheim qb pp2 with provy out as well. Change the chemistry, and with two d out there you're more responsible at the end of a pp with the guy coming out of the box

I'm ok with provy and amac. The amount of failed clears by gudas and manning though. Yikes!

Fleury? Haha. I don't care if he wears a soul patch. His eyes are crossed and he's got buck teeth like a beaver.

He's got that odd yet adorable thing going on.

I mean, he's no Max Talbot, but then again, who is

I agree it is tight but at least 2 times a piece gudas and manning just missed the Puck and a clear. Sanheims reach and hands make him a better fit in tight. Really in tight manning and gudas don’t knock a lot of guys off the puck, not many can. A real good stick and hands are huge.

Again I wouldn’t have but next season they need to put sanheim in those situations

I'd prefer anyone but those two out there, even Ghost. Maybe not Sanheim, yet. He's not ideal for protecting a lead late in a 6-on-5, but it's not like Manning and Gudas have been defensive stalwarts lately, either. At least with him, you know it's getting cleared if he has even a split-second chance. In fact, protecting a lead in the last 2 minutes, I might just rotate those 3, and I'd try to play Provorov for 1:30 minimum.

What you need out there is shot blocking d men wo can clear it. To me it's be provy and mac. Mac blocked a big one at the end. Dear god did we ever get owned on that last draw with 2 seconds left. They got two (frank)ing chances????

Neuvirth is made of paper mache, they really need to move on from him as soon as possible. It’s a shame because he was playing well but you just can’t rely on him.

Great effort to land a big 2 points last night and big time props to Mrazek for coming in cold and holding down the fort.

YOu are posting early today. It was a great effort
