Scandella trade was definitely worth it. We say all the time you can't trade poop for cash. But we did. With the condition that we took a little poop back.

Oh sure. Who doesn't love extra picks.

Bryson won first team all-star HE honors. So that's something. This past year's 4th rounder. Haven't heard much about Laaksonen. Weissbach had a nice season at Wisconsin, and that team was sucky. 26 points in 34 games.

I didn't say don't draft a QB in the 1st, I said don't push all in meaning don't trade away the entire draft for a guy.

The Eagles and Rams roster has added a few pieces in free agency after they traded up to get a QB but the majority of their players in key positions were already there.

The Rams had the 2nd youngest team in the league, the Bills have the 2nd oldest.

I never said don't draft a guy in the first round, one or two of the QBs will be fall to you.

Nah, having a franchise QB is way overrated. You can pick these guys up in the 3rd and 4th rounds easily. With the league continuing to move to passing, having a stud there isn’t necessary.
Go get EJ, errr I mean Cordell, damn it...Lamar, ya that’s his name.
At least when he flames out, they will have a solid WR.

All you knuckleheads who disparage Craig Rivet on the instigators, IMO he is spot freakin’ on with his insights into the Sabres problems and where the fixes are required.

He just laid all the issues squarely on the shoulders of the players collectively, and pointed to lack of leadership and accountability on them as well. “Far too many young players who do what they want”.

The veterans who were brought in to provide leadership have failed miserably, apparently though, the younger guys aren’t listening too well.

Player with 18 years, 992 games played, Alternate Captain of the Canadians, Captain of the Sabres. Nothing was given to him as a 3rd round pick, he earned it all.

I’ll take his insights, even though I don’t always agree with all his takes, generally though, I like many of them.
