No. It'll be a decent return. But not a home run. If Ryan is not included then they get a much better deal of course. I'd still list Vegas as the favourites. Lots of decent roster players, picks, decent prospects and plenty of Cap space. Plus they're in the Western Conference. I can see the vet GM, McPhee taking advantage of an inexperienced Dorion. See the Duchene trade.

Ek is 60% sure that Tavares will stay with the Isles. But he's 70% sure that he will be joining the Leafs. Soon he'll be 90% sure that Tavares will be part of a sign and trade with the Sens for Karlsson.

I have always thought the Draisaitl option would come into play. Oilers have huge money committed to 3 centres (McDavid, Draisaitl and NuHop). Team does not have the back end speed to play at the tempo that is necessary to win with a dominate McDavid.

Could be something in this but no way Bobby Ryan is part of the arrangement.

I know. I yearn for the Rumour chart. I can't sleep without knowing where Paul Byron is going. I thought it was to Nashville for 2 high end defense prospects. But it seems like Poile has filled his teams needs.

I'll just wait for the next Malkin rumour and save up my money to buy a Season Ticket.
