It shouldn't prompt you to take the side of the NRA. This movement is about changing the gun culture in America that is responsible for so many senseless deaths. It's not about coming after people like you.

No, of the 74 games they've played, they won 34 of them in ROW. 50%.

That difference in shootout wins is so extreme, it makes me wonder what the cause is.

Is it purely luck?

Or is it some other factor, like certain players improving in the shootout or getting new players that are good in the shootout? Babcock having a better idea of which players to use in the shootout?

If it really is just luck, then it makes the shootout seem like an even worse invention to be added to hockey than I previously believed.

Combination of luck and practice. Maybe more confidence from certain players. Maybe more film study from Andersen.

The SO is definitely stupid and should have never been introduced in the first place. A tie game sucks but it's better than ending a game in two skills competitions. May as well have a hardest shot contest between the 3-on-3 and the SO. It's so (frank)ing stupid.
