I think if the Leafs end up playing the Bruins. I’m going to have to watch the NESN feed.

Now that would be painful. Watched a good many games over the years. Had Directv before the Bell and have listened to many US play by play guys. But Jack Edwards is the worst homer. Brutal! |

It was Bob Rouse that took that slapshot /pass - PatC80
It was. I also remember Leafs had a top 6 pack of D men then too. One of the best in league. I think what ultimately did them in was the 21 games in 42 nights. Unheard of today. If they had got even a few extra days rest. Who knows how things might have turned out. |

Great the urologist could not get at the kidney stone so they left a (frank)ing stent in there and hopefully he can get it next time.
I get to have all the pain and blood in the urine ... and still have the (frank)ing stone that needs to be removed - Aetherial
Well, what can I say about Aethsie’s urethra- it comes to piss every day.

I think that’s the Bruins schedule down the stretch. Unfortunately their players keep getting hurt so they’ll be rested for playoffs.
Or rusty....I’m hoping for rusty. |

Thanks everyone.
Very tempted to just get drunk tonight, although probably not a good idea to thin my blood.
Percacets are at least making me high... too bad they can't do anything about feeling like I am pissing razor blades!

My dad had those... He was in some kind of scary pain..
He drives a truck and we just crossed the bored near ft erie somewhere before he had to pull over. We spent like 10 hours at some truck stop and he was literally in agony. This better not happen to me. |

its still wack
Leafs have played 74 games and gotten 95 points (1.28 points per game)
or
of the available points 74 x2 (148), the leafs have gotten 95 or 64% of them
actually I see its home/road - senstroll
74 games with 37 ROW (13th overall).
Leafs ROW winning percentage would be 50%.
Leafs overall winning percentage would be 59%.
Leafs point percentage would be 64%.
Leafs were 1-8 (worst in the NHL) in the SO last year and 7-2 (best in the NHL) in the SO this year. It's made a big difference (6 more points). |

That difference in shootout wins is so extreme, it makes me wonder what the cause is.
Is it purely luck?
Or is it some other factor, like certain players improving in the shootout or getting new players that are good in the shootout? Babcock having a better idea of which players to use in the shootout?
If it really is just luck, then it makes the shootout seem like an even worse invention to be added to hockey than I previously believed. |

And he just so happened to be absolutely (frank)ing useless. Shocking, I know.

As long as the team Boston is facing isn't your team of choice, he's awesome. Such a homer that it's really awesome to hear him call a game.
I honestly wish the Leafs had something similar. Instead of the (frank)ing scrub bums we got calling them on TV now. |

just want to point out that when 2 seasons ago I mentioned that Leafs this season should be playoff ready and looking to actually win a few series in playoffs, 90% of people in here disagreed heavily ('way too early', 'not a chance this will happen', 'still far away from being a SC contender', 'need for further development', etc. etc.).
good weekend to all and I hope we get Tampa in playoffs first round. |

Is it too much to ask to be able to get someone who knows what going on in the game and who knows the players to call the leafs games? |

No, you’d need to divide by the games that ended in reg/overtime, not total games |

the Leafs can't beat the 1993 Kings and Kerry Fraser
blah blah blah...

apparently ... Toronto gets a steady dose of guys who love the Habs or guy's who hate the Maple Leafs organization and mess themselves thinking about the Sedins and Luongo.
I genuinely wonder what Hughson is going to do when Luongo and Sedins retire. |
