Sportsnet saying laine likely to play tonight after maurice said he is out 4-14 days....why wouldn’t you let your star player be completely healed for playoffs. I think laine is trying to win the rocket. If I was Winnipeg I would sit him. |

I'm the only one brave enough to say this and I've been saying it all year. The Leafs are the best team in the league when fully healthy. The powerhouse offense makes up for any defensive shortcomings. Imho they are the cup favorites. No team can roll three lines as effectively and definitely no team is as fast. Zone entries and puck control along with the PP (again, when healthy) is redonk. Freddy has proven he can handle the workload. The defence isn't as bad as people make it out to be, and Dermott is legit. Polak and Zaitsev are better than given credit for. |

I'm sure he is..but it could be costly if not completely healed? .and agreed if he's NOT healthy. .rest up for the playoffs. .they do have plenty of firepower |

Agree 100%, if Freddy had been sharper early in the season we’d be first overall. Even then we wouldn’t be considered favourites though, way too much hate and jealousy out there. |

If the team lets him play, he's able to play. No team lets somebody play if they ain't ready. And good for Laine if he does win it. |

Wow, Laine in the lineup tonight. Not only might he win the Rocket Richard trophy as a teenager, but the kid plays hurt. |

Or he's not hurt. You think a team coasting into the playoffs would allow somebody to play hurt? Really?

Great the urologist could not get at the kidney stone so they left a (frank)ing stent in there and hopefully he can get it next time.
I get to have all the pain and blood in the urine ... and still have the (frank)ing stone that needs to be removed |

I’m not saying that. I’m saying he could easily say he feels fine and is good to go. Which he could because it’s a bruise and there is no way of telling. But from a team perspective you better hope he doesn’t get hurt for the long term. |

I think this leafs team matches up well against any team in the league. However, I am not yet sold on them beating a team like Nashville or Pittsburgh in a 7 game series unless Murray/Rinne struggle. I think they can beat Boston and Tampa in the playoffs. |

If I had the option to watch pacific rim uprising again, or the 3rd period collapse vs Boston in the playoffs, on repeat... I’m honestly not sure which I’d pick. |

It annoying. This is the second failure. Lithotripsy (sound waves) failed in Januar and the stone is blocking the ureter at the kidney, causing damage to the kidney |
