Gross....but the Pens looked pretty good tonight. Snagged a point after being down 3-1. Moving on.
- MattStrat

Yup. Theyve looked worse and won. Kinkaid was great.

OT was all on Letang though. When the other teams best player is on the ice you can’t lose him like that. He just isn’t thinking D.

Does Letang realize he plays defense? I mean, I know Sully gives him a ton of rope, but good lord....

Victim of goaltending again, I suppose.

Let me tell you. Party Hard blaring through the loud speakers after a goal is way more raucous than I ever imagined it would be. I’m in love.

South Side, her I come!

I was at the game, and I am generally a Letang supporter. He was brutal tonight. Absolutey horrid.

From Mackey:
Penguins lines/pairs:
Guentzel-Crosby-Hornqvist
Hagelin-Malkin-Rust
Sheary-Brassard-Kessel
Kuhnhackl-Sheahan-Simon (ZAR rotating)

Oleksiak-Letang
Dumoulin-Schultz
Maatta-Ruhwedel

Looks like Simon would be the guy going out.

Of greater note: Oleksiak with Letang?

I could see Kuhn being the odd man out. My guess is ZAR would be eased into practice by playing fourth and the eventual trickle down could see a Sheary-Sheahan-Simon 4th.

That would be an amazing 4th line skill wise. It would be like when we were rolling Dupers and Satan next to a younger, useful, Adams.

I’d attempt...

Jake-Sid-ZAR/Hornqvist
Hags-Geno-ZAR/Hornqvist
Rust-Brass-Kessel
Sheary-Sheahan-Simon

Hope you're right, but I'll have to see that one to believe it. ZAR wasn't rotating with Kuhnhackl and before ZAR's injury Simon was in the minors.

Let's hope Sully sees this. I'd have ZAR with Sid, but I would love to see this lineup.

I think they played the 3rd period last night with those pairings.

It's probably all Dumo's fault that Tanger was on the ice for all the goals not Muzzas.

It's plays like that where Letang's on ice save % takes a beating and there's nobody to blame but Letanh himself.

With the next handful of games all being in close proximity to each other plus the fact a playoff spot not gaurenteed, watch for the Pens to get more in sync and cohesive all while also playing with more desperation.

Will say though, I'm not feeling those D pair changes this late in the season. Oleksiak not finding a good partner to match with since Cole left is to blame for this.

Can't we blame the goalie?

I thought Oleksiak and Schultz played pretty well together.

Talking rivalry for this game, discipline yada yada yay, let's hope the Pens start hard & put some pressure on the Flyers who have it right on them at the moment.
