Glughead needs to go. We have a bunch of millennials on this team that play when they feel like it and the problem with that is ive seen enough of Glughead in practices to see he can be firm but he definitely lacks in fairness and consistency.

Bennett gets ridden hard like a 3rd rate porn star by Glughead for the same mistakes Johhny G makes nightly. The Flames need a real leader as a coach, this team is complex and we need a coach who can lead and be respected. A Coach that has won a cup, dealt with star personalities ect ect. When the road got tough this season, Glughead would go from flat, zero personality to dismissive and condescending about his team. Glughead failed to build a confident, resilient team. This version of the Flames was the most fragile ive seen in decades. Unfortunately, that is a direct reflection of the coach. No way this guy can coach this team for another season. Hit the high road Glen and be thankful i dont own the flames because i would be getting a jump on the coaching market by firing your ass right before last nights post game conference.

Hey, you ever go to another teams blog and they're talking about firing a good GM when their team had a disappointing season. You think to yourself, "what a bunch of idiots" right?!

Or they're talking about firing a second year coach because they missed the playoffs one year after they made them. Your thinking, "these guys are a bunch of (frank)ing ding-a-lings"

There's a lot of posters on this blog that need to take a good look in the mirror because you have become one of those drooling idiots.

It's like GMBT has to be perfect every trade and every signing to be considered good enough to keep his job.

Anybody with 2 brain cells to rub together knows that changing coaches like underwear does not make any kind of stable foundation on which to build a team culture with stable systems.

Buddy, don't know how many games you go to but I share season tickets in Presidents Club & pay $575.00 for 2 seats per game. This has been the most putrid unentertaining games I have attended in years. You know how much fcking fun it was to be at that game last night??? This coach is doing to some of our young guys like Bennett & Janko what a guy by the name of Eakins did to the Oiler rebuild & destroyed a number 1 overall player by his player usage. The team has bailed on this coach & I don't condone the players, they have not shown any next level to their game that playoff teams do at this time of year. No sacrifice, no belligerence, no tenacity, no emotion, no urgency, no give a sh!t! Fck them all. If I had my way I would trade at least 20 of them but that doesn't happen. So whether you think its deserved or not, the coach has got to go.
Bottom line.
If this coach is still there by next Fall I'm done buying tickets.

I feel for you man. I think we probably have to go back to the Young Guns era to find a worse home record for the Flames. I go to a few games and have to say they were not good enough at home to justify the price of a ticket. I agree, they can't bring GG back. I think the team knows it too as they're just not playing for him anymore. I think the problems go deeper but this coach is done.

Doug Pederson took a team with average talent in year 2 and turned them in to a super bowl winner with a back up QB...why?! Because he is a damn good coach. He hired a def coordinator that suited his teams talents. You cant see this team has been gutless, completely relying on talent night in and night out for 2 years?!? The compete level of the Calgary Flames under Glughead is absolutely disgusting! Look at our power play? Glughead hired a power play specialist assistant coach that has never ranked higher then 21st?!?! Keep in mind Glughead was not our first choice for a head coach, we got caught waiting that year and we had slim to none to choose from. Ill stand firm behind the Flames desperately need a coaching change. Tree has won more than lost imo and im fine with him making an error on the coach and getting another opportunity to make it right. Our team is not without talent.

The last two seasons, ive seen the Flames blown out more then i have in decades of watching them...blown out! Hey buddy, we just beat the oilers ...barely....first time in 2 years... Ferland has regressed, Bennett has regressed...Troy Brouwer gets PP time and 1st line time!! GTFOH with that we dont need a new coach poop. GTFOH, THe Flames over then last two years look like a ringette team. So no live games this year, only tv and radio for me unfortunately.

Ok so let's say you have Nashville in a tier all alone at the top before the season started.

You could then lump the following teams in the next tier:

1. Kings
2. Ducks
3. Sharks
4. Blues
5. Hawks
6. Flames
7. Oilers
8. Stars
9. Jets
10. Wild

Literally....any of those teams could be good or bad depending on how the season went.

Then you add in Vegas, a team nobody expected to win at all, suddenly becomes a powerhouse, and goes up to the top with Nashville. Now you have 6 of those 10 teams making the playoffs, and 4 will miss. The Oilers blow (should have seen that coming), but then they are replaced by the surprising Av's.

At the end of the day, there's 4 of those teams that are going to be disappointed, but there's so much parody in the West can you honestly say that any of those teams I listed are much better than the others? Not really. There's no chance anyone should have said the Flames are FOR SURE a top 4 teams in the west, I don't know where this expectation came from.

Everyone in here is so pissed off cause they think the coach was so bad, that he took them from conference semi-finalists to the golf course. In reality the west is (frank)ing hard, and the make up of this team isn't that great.
