I agree, he continues to make ridiculous line up calls that weigh down the team. Brouwer on 2nd line is ridiculous just cause hes seen as a veteran voice.

Hathaway is absolute garbage and should not be in the line up, how many points does he have in the last 40 games, maybe 5?

shore and lazar continue to be out of the line up but offer more speed and skill.

i wasnt a fan of GG from the start, hes shown nothing in the league and continues to show hes not fit to coach at this level.

This team needs a quenneville or torts.

Good idea! 2 guys that are employed LOL

Who's next on your list? Maybe they can bring back Keenan!

No. But I’m not a retard I know a first round pic is a lot better then a 3rd round pic when you wasted your picks on players that suck same poop they are both terrible GMS
- browntoe

At least 20 other GM’s would’ve paid that price for Hamonic. Hamonic’s problem is Brodie, no idea why but Brodie has been garbage this year.

Glughead needs to go. We have a bunch of millennials on this team that play when they feel like it and the problem with that is ive seen enough of Glughead in practices to see he can be firm but he definitely lacks in fairness and consistency.

Bennett gets ridden hard like a 3rd rate porn star by Glughead for the same mistakes Johhny G makes nightly. The Flames need a real leader as a coach, this team is complex and we need a coach who can lead and be respected. A Coach that has won a cup, dealt with star personalities ect ect. When the road got tough this season, Glughead would go from flat, zero personality to dismissive and condescending about his team. Glughead failed to build a confident, resilient team. This version of the Flames was the most fragile ive seen in decades. Unfortunately, that is a direct reflection of the coach. No way this guy can coach this team for another season. Hit the high road Glen and be thankful i dont own the flames because i would be getting a jump on the coaching market by firing your ass right before last nights post game conference.

This might be the post of the year!!! You know the entire league is full of millennial right?

Trading Block:

Gio
Brodie
Stone
Kulak
Ferland
Frolik
Bennett

Gone for sure:

Stajan
Brouwer (trade or buyout)

I think you'll see at LEAST 4 or 5 new faces next year.

They still made changes though.

Kane/Bogo traded. Their captain walked as a UFA and signed with the Islanders.

They actually kept drafting and developing their own core instead of paying big prices through trades or trying to make a big UFA splash.

Time for this organization to move on from Ken King.
1. Doesn't know squat about hockey
2. Refuses to get back to the table to negotiate a fair arena deal
3. Didn't fix the god awful jersey when he had a chance
4. Somehow took a team in one of the worlds top hockey markets and turned it into a revenue sharing club
5. Has created a negative public perception of the CSEC
This guy is the head of the snake and should be the first one to find himself in the unemployment line.

read again bud, i said they need a quennville or torts, as in someone thats tough on players like them. I never said they need to go after either of them.

But then again, your just on here to make stupid comments.

hey bud yep i do. my point being was we need a coach capable of handling that. i do not feel GG is that guy. I agree with your trade block except for Bennett. we should not give up on Bennett until we try a dif coach. GG was way too inconsistent with his players and for whatever reason Bennett seemed to wear the brunt. I think Bennett is going to be really good. A guy who has speed, skill and will drop the gloves with Manson and ko him. Keep in mind Gio fought Manson and looked like he was one breath away from drowning...not my kind of captain. i am willing to bet a new coach will bring out the beast in Bennett.

Glughead I like that! Where were you when I was bashing the coach 3 months ago? Took some heat from some of the knob gobblers on here that thought he was a good coach for this team! Not blaming him totally, players have a lot to do with where this team sits, they definitely need a new voice in the dressing room.
Trelivings going to cover his ass for not lottery protecting that 1st round pick. Management felt they were ready to compete, weather that's right or wrong doesn't matter. Glughead will take the fall for this.
On the Winnipeg model, big difference between the prospect pools, plus Laine haas a lot to do with that!

Hey, you ever go to another teams blog and they're talking about firing a good GM when their team had a disappointing season. You think to yourself, "what a bunch of idiots" right?!

Or they're talking about firing a second year coach because they missed the playoffs one year after they made them. Your thinking, "these guys are a bunch of (frank)ing ding-a-lings"

There's a lot of posters on this blog that need to take a good look in the mirror because you have become one of those drooling idiots.

It's like GMBT has to be perfect every trade and every signing to be considered good enough to keep his job.

Anybody with 2 brain cells to rub together knows that changing coaches like underwear does not make any kind of stable foundation on which to build a team culture with stable systems.

If you think firing BT or GG is going to magically solve the problems then your a drooling idiot. We're here to play the long game, not the short and immediate one.

they are pretty damn set up.

Good high end Vets, a lot of promising young players, some already established as studs and more to come.

So much of their own drafted and developed talent in their Top 6 and Top 4 are results of building it up right

I like BT, I wouldn't mind if he stuck around but come on... some of the decisions GG has made this year have got to have you questioning his abilities as a coach. Players deserve to take a lot of heat but it's not like Brodie and Hamonic decided they should play all year together despite being horrible as a pair. Brouwer didn't make the decision to be on the PP all bloody year. Rittich was playing great before Smith's injury but still only got starts when the team played back to backs. You got to admit GG has had you scratching your head more than just a few times this year.
