Tampa scoring a lot. And getting scored on a lot.
Rangers flyers has been good - Thorny87
Lightning over-worked their goalie. I'm betting that comes back to bite them in the playoffs. |

I've said this before, I don't see them getting past round 2 - at very best. I can see them being beaten round 1. I'm curious to see how grubby they get in the playoffs especially if they are struggling. |

The Devils are gonna be desperate as F tonight. This is must win for them....and honestly, I just dont see the Pens matching their desperation. This doesnt mean the Devils win of course but the Devils are gonna be chalked full of emotion here this evening. |

I really want to pick the Bruins to beat them, but they're such a MASH unit right now I can't even put them ahead of Toronto unless they get healthy real quick. Seven guys out and most of them are important. |

I'm thinking that the WC's this season may both go through depending on who they are of course. NJ will be a yuuge headache whoever they get, if they can play consistently over 7. Florida will be hard to play, & the Pens could in fact fall to a WC if things go to poop. The BJ's can beat anyone & at the moment are beating everyone. I think Philly is the only team that won't cause any great resistance.
So all the above in my opinion can beat either Tampa &/or the Caps (except Philly). |

Just read the blurb. Seems like the same old story. Did he add anything new? |

Yeah, read that after we chatted yesterday, very timely. From the end of the article:
These individual gaffes are the only smear on an otherwise solid campaign for Letang. The only problem is they're some pretty big smears and they're understandably overshadowing all the solid work he's done.
If Letang can clean up these individual issues, his save percentage should normalize and the Penguins will be better off for it.
That's all I'm really saying, those gaffes are undermining his otherwise solid work. It's not like I want someone else taking his matchups, but the mistakes he makes are so glaring and frequent it takes a lot of good to make up for it. |

Basically that it's a combination of having his head down too focused on the puck and being too aggressive when the opponent has clear control of the puck. |

I don't think a WC team would beat them although CBJ or Pittsburgh could if they ended up there. They are really good, but top heavy. I feel the team that beats Tampa will do it by out playing them in depth areas.
Their top line and pairing are hard to top. Second line is food but not really a game-breaker there. 3rd feels incomplete because they lack a good 9th firward. 2nd pairing has Girardi on it. 3rd pairing has Coburn and a not-as-good-as-he-was-early-in-the-season Sergachev.
I think a team like the Pens that can press them with their 2nd and 3rd units will beat them so long as the top units don't get slaughtered. Add in a goalie who has openly said he's fatigued already and I don't see them winning the Cup. |

The guins ended the Canadiens' dreams on Wednesday. I predict they're going to dent the Devils hopes and send them packing as well. |

Hard to disagree there. He does seem way to focused on offense.

If theres one thing thats great about tonight is that they played only two days ago. These four and five day breaks F with sh!t like chemistry and precision. This is on a very amateur level, I know, but I usually play 3 to 5 games a week and when I miss a few games in a row there's rust the next time I play and it takes a little while to get timing back. I'm sure its similar with them. Practices never ever duplicate game action. |

Best I've ever had was in Van. Worst was in London, 1 piece with chips and a pint was 30 quid ~$60 CAD. |

In Jooris' place I see. I'd like to see that line with Jooris instead of Kuhn. That'll never happen unless he's injured. |
