Meh it’s actually encouraging getting a person that’s actually a fan of the team just saying

He thinks Tremaine If we make the trade

- gerbe75pts

No, this means we are NOT getting number 2. Them trading JPP means they want Chubb. We need to target 4, 5 or 6 if we want a trade up now.

I don't see them keeping the pick they could restock their whole team in one draft with our picks

And draft a quarterback in the second for the future

They want Chudd...that's what

Basically the Bills should be trading to 4 with the Brown

3 [img]way trade in the works?
Just spoke with a friend who worked at 1BD for many years.

He said he doesnt know anything about the Incarcerated Bob report but he did say he has heard rumblings about a 3 way trade between the Giants, Bills, and Browns.

He doesn’t have all the details but he said the basic premise is the Bills would receive #1 overall pick, Cleveland would get #2 and the Giants would get #4.

Beneficial because both the Giants and Browns would be able to stay in the top 4 and the Bills would be able to get into it.

It's just rumor at this point, but i'd Thought I’d pass it along because I’ve never heard this possibility before and think it’s interesting.[/img]

Well done.

He kept lehner , I should say.

Signed and played:

Josephson
Nolan (waivers)
Bowl u (trade)
Chad
Pommer (trade)
Pouilot
Tennyson
Griffith
Redmond (trade)
Cristo

This is a TANK TEAM

kept Moulson for 14 games
Hired rookie soft friendly nice coach
Replaced the #1 pp coach

Anyone really think jbotts assembled this crew to win?

- Boss34

For the sake of argument and to prove this team is not a "tank team".

Keeping Lehner - Why not? Signed him for a one year prove it deal.

Josefson - 4th line center depth and SO specialist. Not the worst signing.

Nolan (waivers) - Clearly trying to change the culture here. He plays way more than he should, though.

Bowl u (trade) - A cheap redemption project. It was a smart gamble for a lottery ticket. Never meant to play more than bottom 3 minutes. He fits this system but is still a bonehead, hence a 3rd round pick.

Chad - Backup goalie? Seems fine to me.

Pommer (trade) - Necessity in order to fill a major need in getting more top 4 dmen. Pommer fills nicely on the third line, and could likely be more successful without Larsson sucking the life out of him. You must remember, we traded scraps for Scandella, there was going to be a cap dump.

Pouilot - Look at our left wing depth and look at the free agents available. Not much value there. He's performed about as expected. No one on the Amerks was ready to take over for him. He's here for the rest of the year. Big deal.

Tennyson - Solid depth and decent in a pinch. But he was signed for depth. Stayed up too long when Guhle and Nelson weren't ready to come up yet.

Griffith - Earned a spot out of camp. Thankfully, Bailey, Baptiste and Erod are here playing well enough and Grif is back where he belongs.

Redmond (trade) - This has been an excellent trade for the Amerks. He's the leading defensive scorer and one of the team's leading scorers. No one here wanted D-lo. I'd make this trade 8 days a week.

Cristo - Who's this?

kept Moulson for 14 games - this isn't even worth discussing. Botts gave him a chance, when he proved ineffective, he dumped him to the minors. There's nothing wrong here.

Hired rookie soft friendly nice coach - In your opinion. It's widely reported that in private (locker room, practices etc) he's as fiery and passionate as Torts. His players respect him because Housley respects them and doesn't roast them in the media. Yeah, he's a rookie and has improvements. And sure, maybe some tactics aren't sinking in. But apparently ownership and Botterill like the job he's doing. And there must be a reason for that.

Replaced the #1 pp coach - What if I told you it was a two way street, and Woods chose to go to MIN. If, however, it was up to Housley, he made a mistake. But we don't know that.

All in all, the moves done were to reverse culture, fill in massive holes and try to build this thing up again. This team needs so much more and the way to build a team is through the draft. FA's are complimentary pieces 95% of the time. The biggest trade he made was a player for player trade that brought in a legitimate defenseman. He didn't make a tank team. It was already here.

We haven't had what in 20 years?

Time to stop (frank)ing around and get that franchise quarterback or we're going to be doing the rinse and repeat situation for another 20

So If I am reading this right:

Bills
Browns
Jets
Giants

would be the order for the first 4 picks

The question of the day would be:

What is this going to cost?

I would assume the Browns would get 12, 22 and probably a 2nd and their 3rd back to drop 1 spot with their 1st pick and then go from 4 to 12
The Giants are only dropping 2 spots and are still going to get their guy but I see them getting a 2nd and maybe a 2019 3rd

So the Bills would give up picks:
12, 22, 53, 65 to the Browns and picks 56 and next years 3rd to the Giants

6 picks to get to 1st overall?

Hell to the no

if they really believe one of the qb's is going to be a stud, I am fine with it

but they better be damn sure, and not doing it just to draft a qb

if the qb busts, they will be out of a job in 2 to 3 years

the problem IMO, this team started out in a funk and needed a shake up

rather than making a bold move to shake up the locker room, they added wilson

is wilson a bad player, no
but he is a bottom 6 guy, hardly a difference maker
