Iā€™m with Brooks - Gaunce needs to go!

So does over half the roster. This team will be changed drastically over the next couple seasons.

You are a clueless troll. This current core is 3 to 4 bounces away from playoffs

I am just going to be happy if he makes the roster after next season.
Iirc, only 2 of is were arguing that he was going to be a good overage signing.

I think when he learns the game a bit more he will be an upgrade on Dowd

Cull says Zack MacEwen continues to impress, "making better decisions, and is in a more offensive role. From start of the year to now, he has improved so much.

Future 4 th line center?

- VANTEL

Hes the only player on the comets with NHL potential. Big guy with solid offence so hopefully he keeps improving.

Edit: obviously other than demko

other than a handle of games Dowd is the forward I believe most easily to upgrade on.
Problem is,he is a centre and we are extremely thin at that position for next season.

Zack is a big boy with good speed and skilled hands and he is very tough. He is an motivated Archibald type skill

Canucks don't develop, this will all disappear once he joins the canucks. We will have our pitchforks and fire to send him back down.

He plays in the best developmental league has steadily seen his minutes increase. I'm not sure what you think development is, but that's what he's doing. They did a good job on Gaunce and I like what they are doing with Pettersson, Dahlen, Juolevi, chatffield and Demko. I just hope they err on the side of keeping them developing and not on the side of rushing them in (which they've done with about 6 young guys, 2 of which have worked out)

I agree we are thin at every position, centre for next season, as i said in my original comment consists of only 2 nhl calibre players at the moment Horvat and Sutter.

This is a very hard team to perform with. The top starts are gifted to vet players . It is hard for a player to grow without being given some advantages. Even guys like Loui given a regular spot every game until TDL when they go cheap mode and save his salary by plastering his ass to the press box.

When Jake starts flying a little he gets taken off Bo's line to see if he can jump start the two old guys.

They are doing it right by going all in for last place this year but this team needs an overhaul in the summer
