You've watched him play, right? The guy can barely make a clean pass let alone hold the blue line or win a board battle.

The lot of you really have a tough time understanding that young players need time to develop. I understand this team hasn't had prospects for ages but this is actually how the system works. Time is a big factor in figuring out whether somebody is good or not.

I don't disagree with that. Remember, this circles back to Shero making a bad trade. Mueller needs minutes, but Shero dealt a 2nd for a player with no options. So now that he's struggled there's nowhere to play him. He'd be well suited in the AHL and get top minutes but it's not an option. That's why I said Shero swung and missed.

he traded for Mueller before Butcher was signed. Butcher just beat him out for a spot and for some reason John Moore can't sit games.

Mueller's been solid but I won't fully be sold on him until we get that Trump indictment.

I liked the moves Shero made this year, but not enough to improve the defense.

The Vatanen move was excellent, he's arguably been our second best player in 2018 after Hall. Not sure what else within reason Shero could have done in season to largely improve the D.

Sign Dell in offseason (or trade for Martin Jones if sharks pay up for dell ), package Cory for Ek65 and boom we are done.
