I re-checked standings today I don't get how people don't assume Florida is going to pass the devils for a playoff spot. They are 1 point back with 2 in hand. Their schedule is largely against poor teams with only 1 against toronto and 3 vs boston (who they beat well enough a week ago) that stand out. Devils are 4-6 in their last 10. My prediction is Devils are odd team out. Flip a coin on who finishes in what seed.

I agree panthers in, they deserve it and play a heavy and fast game. So devils or flyers out, our goal tending is so suspect. But so are the devils right now.

I do think the shoe will drop on Columbus, I’ve watched them a good bit and they are getting bounces bur in the last few games not playing as well

Trade makes sense. At the NHL level he’s likely a 4th liner at best and there are quite a few forward prospects in the system with more upside. I’d rather have the 3rd, at least with the pick you have a chance, however slim, of landing a much better player and a good chance of landing a comparable player at worst.
