Well... if you want to step into the 21st century, Rocket League has essentially the same game:

Actually the Leafs, Rangers and Canucks all offered Sundin a contract in the off season.....he held off cause he was thinking about retirement.
Once we decided he was coming back....he decided to choose between Canucks and Rangers. - Fakepartofme
Yeah. Because the Leafs said no.
Fletcher put the offer on the table but then Burke came in and said no. |

People like you and UG get off on the Leafs losing because you think it validates whatever your arguement du jour is. But when you're constantly proven wrong you're nowhere to be found. After a loss the LOL's and lame laughy emoticons are very telling.
Here's the truth, hockey is incredibly hard to diagnose issues. You and UG tend to think that your own micromanaging (which I assume you don't actually watch the games) of the players is somehow relevant to current play. We all do it sure, but most of us don't come in here swinging our d1cks around after a loss. |

To quote Brian Burke in regards to Sundin stating his desire to come back to the Leafs- "No."
- GreatGigInTheSky
I don't think this is the actual Burke quote.. I think it was more like:
"We talked, Mats loves Toronto but I don't think he'd help us right now. We need to tear this down and rebuild, but first I need to trade all our draft picks for Phil Kessel "

Yeah... HOHO or OHOH, or whoever he is this week, does this regardless if they win or lose, or even if it's an off-day. |

In a twisted way it actually helped us a ton.. If the Leafs drafted Seguin, Hamilton then they wouldn't have guys like Kadri/Rielly.. nvm Matthews/Marner/Nylander.. We'd be like the Islanders or Panthers and wallow in mediocracy |

That's not entirely true. They would have Kadri. They'd have either Seguin/Hall, Seguin/Hall probably don't have the impact Kessel did in year one, they get one of RNH/Landeskog/Hamilton/Larsson/Huberdeau. They probably suck again like the real Leafs did and get Rielly anyways since Burke said he had him at number one Then it's pretty up in the air. |

Uh?
No clue what nonsense you are talking about.
Im around for wins and loses....fortunately we've had more wins lately.
last night I merely said I thought the "D let us down....ah well...it happens".
Proving wrong about what?
I'm glad you pay so much attention to me, even though, your assessment makes no sense.
However, Im here for you....anytime you need to talk it out. Its ok.

Exactly.
Difficult to predict.
But with the list of potential players we could have had or sign had we not did the kessel trade....the leafs could have had some great playoff runs......or failures. |

Lame sign off bud.
The Leafs will probably keep winning so I guess we'll see you back next season.
