I'm certain those comments he made about deserving to be in the NHL were not going to sit well with Sullivan and JR.

Gotta hope they are just riding time on spronger....i just cannot see how he is any different than the first year we played sheary and rust in the playoffs. Bring him up last week and ride it hard.

Realistically, I don't think both Kuhnhackl and Rowney sit since they are both high on Sully's PK choices. And same with Sprong though I'm ready to give him another look myself.

I know...just a comment on penalties in general. I felt they got away with one on their first goal and a few other high hits and interferences.

We never seem to get the late pps to keep games close. Every team we play gets them when they r losing in the third...not us.

Gibson had a horseshoe up his ass a bit tonight. So did Murray to a degree but damn we couldn't get an easy one tonight.

I'm not advocating putting Phil up with Sid all the time, but every time Crosby and Kessel have been together on a line in the post-Johnston era (only time we ever gave it an extended look was under Johnston) they've looked good. My one dislike about the way Sullivan coaches is his refusal to load up the lines in crunch time. The Two Headed Monster should see the ice at the end of every 1st and 2nd period, and our lines should be loaded if we're down at the end of the 3rd.
