I have no issue with Melnyk. In fact, I'm glad he's the owner, even if he puts his foot in his mouth from time to time.

I've heard that there is very little chance his arena plans get done. It would be amazing for the team, fans, and I think the city too, so I'm not sure why more people aren't making this happen.

the arena was built based on price and the residential expansion
one thing not being accounted for is that while there is money here most homes are a dual income. ticket sales are down because they are high and it's tough on the majority of fans to buy
