I'm providing the magic number for clinching 3rd in the Atlantic.

For Leafs vs NJ, magic number is 9 to go to tie-breaker, 10 to be free and clear.

So if Leafs go 4-5-1 for the rest of the season, NJ has to go 10-0, and make sure that they win 5 more games in regulation or OT (i.e., not shootout) than the Leafs do over the rest of the season.

If they win 4 more games than Leafs do as a ROW, then it goes to head-to-head - so the Leafs' game against them on April 6th will be important.

If the Leafs win that, it then goes to goal differential - the Devils are currently +2, while the Leafs are +39.

they have a good team. all their key players are happy and will re-sign. they have all the bestest prospects. the lotto pick next year won't be an issue. the scoreboard was just wrong this year.

This is based solely on looking at his face but I think Gulutzan is a bad coach.

borowicki is terrible. and burrows passed through waivers. he's not an nhl player.

I would argue having seen him play live a lot that he is the worst defenseman in the NHL. Even when he's "doing his job." Maybe Gryba if that humunculous is in the NHL thee days.
