Why do u like him?
I think he’s super likely to be a bust

- jdfitz77

Nope but he has the Watson factor.

If he’s there most likely he’s BPA

we flushed our 3rd in the 2017 draft to move up and get jones

one more reason not to sell the farm for 1 player

Did u watch Jackson play at all?

His stats look a lot better on paper...
to me anyways

Watson looked good when i saw him play (in college)
Jackson is inaccurate & makes bad decisions

I’m worried that can’t be fixed
We saw how inaccuracy limited Tyrod & Ej

If that can,
then Jackson could really be something
If not,
I don’t think his athleticism will translate well enough to cover for his weaknesses

Are u crapping me?
How many 6th round QBs have worked out?
Brady is the only one i can think of off the top of my head

Here’s the thing...
yes, we will have to trade a stupid amount of picks to get to #2
But if it’s the right QB, no biggie
We have a crazy amount of Cap space next year to “fill the holes”

If we fill all the holes & don’t get a QB,
we’re still just a borderline playoff team

Can we get the QB at 12, or 22, or the 2nd?
Maybe
It’s just less of a maybe than if we trade up

So it really just all boils down to this...
EITHER WAY,
we could screw it up if we don’t get the right QB
So we better freaking figure it out

Doesn’t make sense
They’re gonna keep 4 QBs then?

I don’t think much of Peterman,
but they just drafted him last year

Also,
the flier on the late QB won’t make an impact for us for years down the road,
if ever

We need a legit QB sooner than later

Whether we trade up, or stand pat...
we gotta find our guy ASAP

Late round QBs take more than 1 year to develop though
Picking 1 every year is a waste

Let’s just say we pick 2 QBs for 3 years in a row...
we’re gonna go into that 3rd year with 6 QBs

I get where you’re coming from...
but that’s just wasting picks
U can’t give them all enough practice time to see what you’ve got

It’s not like goalies in the NHL where we can stash them in college, or Europe, or Juniors or the ECHL

The practice squad is only so many spots
We should never have more than 3 QBs total
4 at the absolute most,
but even that’s pushing it

Personally, something like this Mock Draft is what I am hoping the Bills do on Draft day.

https://www.theringer.com...buffalo-bills-quarterback

They don't have to sell the farm and still get a QB that has the potential to be a "Franchise QB." A scenario like this is very likely and chances are we can still get a QB that they want outside of the top five, be it Mayfield or one of the other Top 3 QBs (Although unless the Bills Management and coach really like Allen, hopefully he won't be the one dropping out of the top 5).

What do you guess think? Is this a better option than overpaying in picks to get to 2nd overall? Personally, I think it is as long as it plays out similar to this Mock Draft.

Ok, but that only happens...

IF someone takes Allen (i don’t want him)
and
IF Denver passes on a QB
and
IF no one else trades up for a QB with Denver, Indi or Tampa
and
IF we actually want Mayfield

I’d be cool with it...
but that’s A LOT of pretty big “ifs” we need to go our way for it to work out

For the Bills I think it will all come down to who they want and if they have to, how much they are willing to give up to get said player. I think no matter what we do, or how this draft plays out, there will be a good amount of "IFs" involved.

As long as the QB we do draft works out...
I’ll look back on this draft & not care if we gave up a bunch of picks or not

Same here!
But for some reason I just have a bad feeling about trading up to 2nd overall for a QB, given the luck we have in Buffalo. I just don't want to overpay to trade up and end up drafting a Bust .
I would have less of a bad feeling if they can trade outside of the top 5 for much cheaper still being able to draft a QB and if he becomes a bust at least we didn't through away a chance to draft some real starters and some depth that can help this team in the long run.

This is pretty accurate.
I’d be ecstatic if it played out this way...BAKER MAYFIELD!!

I do think, barring someone else moving into like Denver’s or Indy’s spot, that the Bills hold tight until daft day/eve to make a move up ... hopefully that keeps the price more reasonable than the apparent current price for 2

So the Giants #2 pick is worth 2,600 points
Add in a 25% premium and that premium value is around 3,250

Bills #12 = 1,200
Bills #22 = 780
Bills #55 = 370
Bills # 65 = 265
Bills 1st 2019 = 1,000, using the current value of #16 pick (middle of 1st)
That is 3,615 roughly

Bills Get Giants 2019 2nd = -420 credit, using #48 (again “middle” of 2nd)

Net value to Giants/cost to Bills = 3,195
Close enough, or add in a 2019 7th...or throw in Zay Jones, lol.

Doesn’t hurt too much, Bills Reston a pick in each round this year, give up their 1st next year, but get back a 2nd. In 2019 they will have a sh!t-ton of Cap Space to get them over the hump.

Draft Rosen or Mayfield, Or Darnold...whomever the Brownies don’t pick.

I have
Mayfield
Rosen
Darnold

" And remember I went up to your room afterwards and you were dressed in chick's clothes? Yeah, you had on this black bra with tassels! You were dancing in front of a mirror with this kinda zebra skin jockstrap."

" B!tch!"

"Remember how I screamed at you when you started coming on to me? And I just said 'Jesus stop it Joe, I'm ashamed of you!'"

"Goddamn you."

" I wanted to tell you I forgot the whole thing. Years have passed, now I'm sexually liberated. I don't care who's a fag no more. I mean who cares? It's natural, it's all around us. "

"Who's the owner Joe? "
