yep, and I remember going to a Ranger-Whaler game in Hartford, like Oct 30th or so, 1993 and James Patrick and Mike Hartman were walking around in street clothes during the game, I was able to say hello to him and told him I hope to see him back on the ice soon. Then he was traded there a few days later.

When I was 8-9 years old, I remember listening to hockey games on the wfan. I swear every other name mentioned was James Patrick, so he was my favorite player. He was always all over the ice. Sal "Red Light" Messina (best goalie nickname ever btw) had a huge man crush on him. Grant it, he really was a good player
