The statement "he drinks" is a bit of an understatement.

And it's not just that he drinks...or how much he drinks...or how often he drinks...it's his actions during and afterwards.

Full Disclosure: these observations are from when he was a Bruin. As per my post above, I have no idea if he has cleaned up his act or not.

But at least a few years ago, it wasn't pretty.

We certainly could still move ahead of Boston in the standings. 8 of 12 remaining games are against teams fighting for playoff spots. They won't be easy. Especially if they still have a bit of injury problems (most should be back soon).

Let's see what happens!

They aren't passing Boston, that's a dream.

How do YOU know they arent at 100%?
We are 6th in the league in points....we have at least 2-3 "hopes" in the playoffs.
True, they cannot move up or down in the standings, but who is to say Andersen comes back to get a couple of games under his belt and then his rested for a couple?
Or
Maybe he likes the workload....maybe he needs it to stay sharp?

Hey, look at that, they aren't playing Tuesday. Whoda thunk it?

The Leafs lead the league in shootout wins. Their ROW isn't 6th in the NHL. They have 6 more points compared to last year just because of improved shootout success. But when the playoffs roll around, there are no shootouts. And the Leafs win games despite being badly outshot. Their success in the playoffs is already slim to none but without their best two players at 100%, it's even lower.
