This is good news.
I like kane as a player, not so much as a human being.

I don't think he'll be moving in with you. Wouldn't worry about it.

I like the Sedin's as human beings, not so much as players these days.

Detroit also has 63. Not a big deal but those 2 points give a buffer, in case we accidentally win a couple games.

“Building a culture for the youth”

And no I’m not complaining, I want a high pick badly. I’m just laughing at the management group

You have two Gagner's in the Sedin's. Except Gagner is younger and faster and cheaper and there is only one of him.
- manvanfan

I think this comparison fails, Gagner isn’t close to 50 points, isn’t a PP expert and isn’t a very good player overall.

I think everyone should wrap the minds around the Sedins returning, and I will wrap my mind around another 18 months of complaining about them.

Whether it is a stealth, incompetence or injury-plagued "tank", we're pretty certain of a top 5 pick. Finishing 29th (3rd worst) where we currently sit translates to something like an 82%+ chance of 5th or better, and only a 17.5% chance of 6th.

my dream outcome -- we get Dahlin & the Sedins retire as active players.

No. Boquist or Dahlin if were picking d, BPA.

Definetley not. Overage guys do this every year, none of them amount to anything.

There are much better players(including d) available than Beaudin. (K'andre Miller, Alexyev are two I'd pick before him for sure)

Durzi makes sense 3rd round if he's still around.

- neem55

Injuried last season. Injuried this season. Does Van really need another injuried D?

If you go to the 1:40 mark. Coach Dom Ducharme talks about Beaudin.

K'Andre Miller, I think he's more of a late 2nd though. Personal opinion.

http://www.eliteprospects.../player.php?player=365043 This guy would be a steal in the 3rd round also.

I'm not sure if you have watched the games this year but the Sedin's aren't overall very good players either.

Who knows how many points Gagner would have on the power play. He has 80 minutes less PP time then the Sedin's. A little over half as much. Also has half the amount of points of either of them. He doesn't get to play power play with Horvat or Boeser. Considering Gagner plays on the second unit. Normally, he probably doesn't get to start in the Ozone.

Who knows what Gagner is capable of, the Sedin's are in the way.

Whether they return or not, will be of very little importance, once we have a new foundation.
The leadership will have changed significantly, most of the current players will be long gone and they will be a distant memory.
I think most here want to see a different direction, as opposed to a stagnant & stale one.
I doubt very few of the fans even listen to them when they do an interview.
Just my opinion which may be tainted as i have never liked them.
