i can't imagine they'd want to return to this sh!tshow...but this is what i'd like to see:

they 'retire' in teh offseason and go dark - no media contact.

The team brings in youth/UFA's - E Kane, Gaudette, Elias Pettersson (replacing Sedins/Vanek).

Around the TDL next year, when the inevitable injuries are mounting/players have been shut down for the year, the Sedin's return for the final 20 games or so.

This allows a final farewell for the twins from Vancouver fans and the NHL. Also allows a refreshed Daniel/Henrik to hit whatever milestones are in reach and provide that ever important mentorship for the young-ins.

I would say 80% they return. Still looking at the lineup and don't see a 2nd line if Baer Horvat and Boeser are 1st. We are too loaded with 3rd and 4th liners.
