Gotta love the Tiger Factor.
TSN just tickled his golf balls while showing every significant shot of the round.
.
TIGER SHOT A -4!!!!!
Oh, some other dude is at -8. - Atomic Wedgie
He didn’t play that great today and shot -4. He’s back. He’ll win this week I think.
Also Stenson who is leading couldn’t make the cut last week when paired with tiger last week. |

Except if he does. Then what? He's going to promise to not retire before you trade him? - Unholy_Goalie
If Marleau is still good enough to play in the NHL he will play on the leafs
If he's not he will retire......I don't know if you have noticed but that's kind of what happens when a player can't play anymore
And in that case. Marleaus salary is 4.5 million the last year with a 3 million dollar signing bonus July first..so it will be 1.5 million.
If in fact Marleau isn't good enough to play he will be traded and retire on another team. If he's good enough to play and contribute he can play his final damn year. It's not hard to comprehend this stop trying to make poop out of nothing |

He's old, he's overpaid and he was a stupid signing that's going to make it damn near impossible to keep a younger, more productive player. That's not hard to comprehend.
It's not an automatic that he just gets traded away that easily. Full NMC with a significant cap hit. Not a lot of teams jumping at that one just because you want it to be true. |

You are way overthinking this
He's going to get 25+ goals this year and has shown no signs of slowing down. A great two way player.
And there are tons of teams that are bottom feeders and would take him for a mid pick. It's 1.5 million ffs
And no. The NMC does not matter if he wants to retire. He's not going to (frank) over the leafs so he can retire a leaf
Stop overthinking this. |

I missed the Martin fight.
Found it on Hockey Fights.
The guy is better at hockey than fighting.
Time to put him on Long Term RI.

UG thinks Marleau signing was poor
Godfather Lou thinks it was good
Godfather kinda seems to know what he's doing - UG plays video games in Mama's basement while eating cheetos
hmmmmmmmmm....
I think Godfather Lou knows a little more.. .I vote for him! |

70 points in 75 games last year. nylander was in the minors during pastas first two seasons so points per game is pretty unfair. over the last two seasons he's been a clear step above him and their pay should reflect that |

JVR is in his prime, Marleau is at the end of his road but some how, that 6 million is better spent on Marleau.
Yeah.
Right.

Just from watching them play hockey and not looking at stats, i think Nylander is every bit as good. William does some pretty wizardly things out there that aren't always reflected in stats.. Zone entries, puck control, lethal shot.. Not to take anything away from Pasta.. |

both are very good but as of now pasta is better. he's a borderline point a game player while nylander right now is a 60-70 point guy
both are flashy too |

sure.. If you're basing this strictly on pts..
Pasta plays on a veteran team and isnt relied upon as heavily..
Nylander plays with sophmores... But that Matthews guy is pretty good i gotta admit. |

Yeah.

- Unholy_Goalie
Marleau is one year after this season, maybe 2 on that contract. Not a big deal.
Jvr is good. But I wouldn’t want to give him 7 years. He’ll be fine for the first couple years but I can see that contract turning into an anchor down the road.
