This team is the epitome of mediocre. They've won as many as they've lost and scored as much as they've given up.
The Island of Misfit Toys line made me cringe every time they took the ice. I'm pretty sure mixing them up has created two bad lines. Filpula is -40 CF in the last 6 weeks. That pretty indefensible. Laughton at least drives play. You could possibly get bunched up over his plus minus lately, but lots of supporting GF have dried up across the forward lines..

Corsi is overrated. How many games makes up that 6 weeks? 20 games? Not a big deal. Play Laughton in the same situations as Filppula plays in and see if he still drives play. Flyers are not mediocre. They're better than that.
