#NYR prospect Ty Ronning tallied his 60th goal of the season, which was the game-winning goal for Vancouver (WHL) last night. Ronning also tied for the game-high with seven shots on goal.

Sam Flood, the executive producer and president of production for NBC and NBCSN, said in a press release of their decision to include Sarandon: “We are always looking to grow the game of hockey, and this approach provides us another opportunity to broaden the reach of this great sport.”

Sam, please resign, your decision making has cause undue harm to millions of hockey fans around the world.

#NYR prospect Sean Day recorded an assist last night, extended his assist/point streak to six games (10 assists), and he has tallied an assist/point in 12 of his last 15 games (20 assists over the span). He is tied for fifth among OHL defensemen in assists this season (41).

And as if listenign to her "ooh" "OOOOHHH" "OOOOOOOHHHHHHH" the entire first period wasn't bad enough, off Twitter: her stories which were all about herself, her lack of any hockey knowledge for such a "FAN", how friendly she was with all the rangers (We went to all their weddings.. SHUT UP!), and how she gave them her emmy (which they undoubtedly all pissed on in the locker room one night)

I have to be honest, I didn't hear a second of it, thank God. My daughter wanted to watch on movie before bed, so I had the game on the iPad, muted, while we watched the Sound of Music! Not my first choice, but far better than last night's alternative!! Once I put her to bed and turned the sound on for the 3rd, I was pleasantly surprised to hear Chris Cuthbert's voice!! Win-win...& a win!

I really don't know what market they are trying to capture that the NHL doesn't currently have by including Susan Sarandon in this kind of role. What's the target demographic.
