Saver...we all have opinions..mine is still that facing more shots in AHL is better for his development..He's 22.
- rrentz

Matt Murray won the first of two straight Cups for the Penguins two seasons ago, after he hit age 22 just earlier in April. So he was age 21 when he started as Fleury's backup prior to stealing Fleury's job as the #1 starter that season through their Cup win.

Despite the Rangers disappointing overall season, the Rangers actually split the season series with the Penguins, with each team going 2-1-1 for 5 total points in the four games against each other.
Even more surprisingly, the Rangers won their two games without Hank winning one. Hank lost 2 games by scores of 5-4 in OT, and 5-2, while Georgiev won this game in OT 4-3, and Pavelec won the Rangers other match up also by a 4-3 score, but in regulation time.

I answered your question in great "detail" right before the end of the prior blog's comments, because I was away when you first asked me late last night, and had no free time to reply until a couple or so hours prior to tonight's game.
So see the prior blog's page 20's last page (at that time) comments for my answer.

I think he should start 30 games next season and that’s better than 65 AHL games

Don't know why, but my favorite Rangers seems to be the undrafted ones.
Zuke, for obvious reasons. G before him, and now I chose Pionk as soon as he stepped on the ice - without really knowing why.... Guess I'm a 'low maintenance' guy

that's very true actually. Always have been. And defending 'the weaker guy' has gotten me in trouble a few times...

100% Vin great response. He will get a healthy workload next season being in the NHL.

Losing helps the rangers more than winning obviously but (frank) that was an awesome game to be at yesterday.

looking at the crowd reaction to that comeback it looked like a playoff game, truly

Penguins got some tightening up to do if they wanna 3-peat

I fall asleep mid way through the 3rd and Kreider puts up 4 points in a 15 min stretch?

I should sleep through games more often

you were dreaming about Kreider, so it spurred him on to play the best 15 minutes he's played all year

I thought to myself before Malkin's penalty shot that this is perfect. Rangers had a rousing comeback, Pionk had 3 points (well 2 assists at the time), Georgiev was good, and Malkin will win this for Pittsburgh on a penalty shot that they didn't deserve, win win win

But, of course that bastard misses it with a horrendous attempt and we end up with 2 points.

Oh lawd

So.. I had to turn the sound off, it was so terrible, such a failed experiment, I don't know whose brilliant idea that was but not even over-reacting, whoever thought that was a good idea knows absolutely nothing and should be out of a job this morning. What was she going to add? what viewers was that going to attract? just all around HORRIBLE!

I was pumped to see they dragged that idiot back to her seat in the second period BUT.... then I saw a puck was shot directly at where she would have been with Pierre and they showed her on the jumbo tron during the replay and she was clueless as to what they were trying to get at. Had she still been there it would've blasted her right in the skull.

I'm sad she didn't stay for the second period.. does that make me a bad person?

she was absolutely awful, her interview with the guys in the studio after the second period was just so awkward and uncomfortable, it was ridiculous

they asked her about the NYR rebuild and her response was like she was on Mars. Asked her about the idea of trading Lundqvist and she was like "who"?
