It appeared to be another Bettman/Penguins "fix", but it was the correct call with Georgiev knocking the net off its moorings, whether it was done purposely or not.

I gotta root for whoever plays the Pens, Flyers, BJs and Panthers every night. Even if that means occasionally rooting for you guys.

Yeah thats not correct. If a goalie slides across the crease to make a save and the net comes off, it is certainly not a penalty. It has to be deliberate

Georgiev looks like a keeper. Kids looked real good in the few games I've seen him.

Pionk's twirling and twirling and puck control deep in his own zone led to the GWG on his long stretch pass.
And don't forget that this kid Georgiev is for real, & NHL READY FOR GOOD. He frustrated the Penguins through two, and frustrated Malkin and Crosby even more on their last 10 seconds in regulation penalty shot, and Crosby's close in chance in OT prior to the Rangers GWG.

McKenzie said after the 1st intermission the Rangers are going to try and add Kovy this offseason along with 1 or 2 more guys to remain competitive while rebuilding.
