Can't play rowney. Can't play sheary above the 4th line. Rowney cannot ever play center again...not even for one shift. |

What a mess. Seriously, I would have played 3 lines and Sids line would have been riding the pine the second half of the game. |

Is it possible he doesn't actually want to play with sheary. Gets annoyed and frustrated a lot with him. It seems quite often sheary will start with sid to find his way in the 3rd or 4th lines half way through games. Maybe regardless of family...its time conor sees some games from high above. |

I have no idea what he was doing on that one shift in OT. |

Rowney had one shift maybe 2 as a center. He was out there for the ONLY 5v5 goal against. |

The 4th was rolling. No reason to break that line up. If Sid is gonna coast there’s no one that can help that line. Putting Sheahan on it just (frank)s up the other lines.
The D was horrible. Not just defending but on breakouts and pinches. |

When he let the puck go on the boards? Just not like him. He’s not battling at all. |

The WHOLE TEAM bailed on d. Not just a minor switch of players. It was CLEAR sheary was bad tonight and Crosby has more than earned a fair chance to make plays. U don't bury sid because our 4th line was playing decent. The other lines were playing great too when the switch was made. Should have been an easy win. Trying to get ur main goto man going a bit is Def not the reason this team lost. |

I'll say it again, Crosby needs some space and his linemates are incapable of providing it. I'd rather have Kuhnhackl on the 1st line than Sheary at this point. At least there's a chance he can do some board-work. |

Having said it all...i like these loses honestly. Being embarrassed like this is a gut check for great teams. U got burned hard..and if you are gonna get burned...do it in the reg season. |

Sheary was a flash in the pan player. He sucks and his contract is wasted cap space. |

There was a time when Crosby could carry that line all by himself. Clearly that's not the case at the moment. Guentzal isn't playing great, but Connor Sheary is like carrying a wet bag of sand right now. He can't control a puck or win a board battle. It's hard work covering for all his mistakes. |

There was a stat of 21-0-1 leading after 2 periods, that is now 21-1-1. I'll take some positives out of this game. A wake up call....Im interested in the post game interviews....A few players know they shut down...
I was truly shocked at Jooris being sent down. Thinking he gets called back up, Sheary sits. |

I get pissed when I see him on the ice. His hands are horrible, he falls down all the time, and is incapable of winning a board or physical battle for the puck.
