The team honestly doesn't need to sign anybody besides maybe one or two Brad Richardson type forwards to take up space until the trade deadline. Teams go bananas for those guys and letting dudes like Gaudette and Petterson learn in the undercard before being main eventers would be good and stuff.

oh (frank) yeah he does, but in a vacuum his statements are incredibly generic business speak.

once you parse it and compare it to something he's even said 2 days earlier it all falls apart faster than a Chiarelli helmed franchise when he has cap space.
