32 shots does seem like trying. We probably just completely suck without Boeser and only slightly less with him.

Some good news. Was at the rockets game. Lind was great again. No surprise there. BUT PG was running around head hunting. At one point they had 2 majors on the same play.

At the end, right after lind last assist a guy went at him, tries to fight, drops the gloves...lind was smart. Didn’t fight. Didn’t flop. Protected himself. I liked seeing it because he’s got so much emotion but you got the sense he knew he had playoffs and couldn’t risk it. Other guy had nothing to play for. Showed lots of maturity IMO.

Also...cal Foote, my god he’s going to Be good. I think he had 2 goals and an assist tonight.

Bingo. I think people are forgetting how bad we were scoring wise last year. Zero depth. So many holes on this team. I’m with Ferrero, draft skill and speed. Don’t worry about size/grit you can get that cheap.

This model or idea isn't new. Its been the model since Detroit won in 08, and depending how you feel about Colorado and Detroit during the Sakic vs Yzerman days, you can date it to back then too.
